Great location, the neighborhood has a lot of great restaurants and food carts, and is just a short walk from the center of town. It was nice to be separate from the hub bub, and the shops are actually a little nicer when you get outside of the center. The hotel is gorgeous with the upstairs pool and dining area being the crown jewel of the hotel. The food and coffee were quite nice, and the staff was very friendly. Gorgeous plants and flowers fill the nicely shaded area. Plunge pool was great on a hot day, plenty of space around the pool for lounging/laying out whilst sipping a margarita. And because the hotel is so small you generally feel like you have the place to yourself. Would highly recommend staying here, and we would love to come back.

Weekend nights can be loud because of parties in a square next door. I brought my noise machine so I had no problems.

Most rooms have only a set of french doors opening to a central patio. Definitely a lack of air circulation. It can get a bit stuffy. But this is pretty common in Oaxaca.

Drinks and food were only served until 6pm, which could be extended until 7pm. But this a minimal and personal detail.

The hotel was super close to everything and in a really quiet, and cool area. It was a short walk to all restaurants, bars, shops, markets, park and museums. The room was always very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Staff were friendly and polite.

I imagined having a margarita next to the pool, but the pool was not heated and therefore unusable. We also tried to use the hot tub and waited 2.5 hours for it to heat up. It never got hot and so we just wasted our time.

Big, comfortable and beautiful rooms. Cleaning service was really great. Location was walkable to everything central. Loved the free water service! Nice outdoor places to chill.

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay. The hostel is beautiful, the staff is kind and helpful, and the restaurant excellent. The receptionists speak a very good english, and have done a great job at helping us know Oaxaca and adapt to our arrival in Mexico.
