Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

An amazing hostel. The location is great (close to a bus station, supermarket, local food), good atmosphere, super clean. Many areas in which you can meet & talk to people. Special mentions to the staff: Ale, Ani, Clarke, Orias, and actually all of them with whom I had contact. They're always kind and helpful! I would definitely come back!

I do wish this location had an elevator for the days that I’m feeling just a bit more tired but it’s only a few set of stairs. Get that cardio in!
Very convenient walking distance from the Ado station and close to many supermarkets and other things. This is one of three locations and they have activities at all of them for you to participate in so there’s never a shortage of things to do. It’s very easy to meet people, especially in the kitchen where everyone gathers. It’s such a lovely open and inviting space. The co-working area downstairs is perfect for some quiet productive time plus each floor of rooms has a small space for you to do work as well. The second floor has a mini library for you to grab a book for the beach. You will rarely ever hear any sound because each floor has a door that shuts it out. I really loved the dorm beds and slept very well. There’s curtains for privacy and the lockers are spacious. Every bunk has an outlet and cubby for your things. Cleaning ladies come in every day which is great when the shower area gets crazy. Of course the rooftop pool and yoga is the main attraction which is just icing on the cake. It’s the perfect spot to get some work done, have a drink and take a dip which I did often. This was such a lovely stay and the staff do make you feel very welcomed. Every single one of the receptionists are so sweet in every way.

On the downside: it was too cold at night in the ac, no windows in the room, and it was quite loud in the hallway next door, making it hard to sleep in the night.
Conveniently close to the Ado bus station. The lockers are big enough for all your stuff, and the privacy curtains are a nice touch. The staff is super friendly, and the co-working spaces are decent if you need to get some work done. The rooftop pool is a solid bonus for relaxing after a long day.

It was extremely loud during the night. Unfortunately some guests screamed on the hallway and used the kitchen on high noise level up until the early morning We have been to many hostels, but never encountered a private room this noisy. We had the room next to the kitchen. Other private rooms might be quieter.

They were playing loud music on the rooftop until late but I was still able to sleep through it.
I was hesitant to go to a hostel so we got a private room. I was very surprised when I saw how clean and comfortable it was.

Surprisingly good facilities for a hostel. I chose the double room for myself. It felt like any hotel. Clean, AC, TV, en suite. Cleaned daily. Rooftop bar and pool is a nice place to hang out. Good food and drink options. Tours available at reception and booked efficiently.

I wish it was a bit cooler. Some rooms have no safes.
The room was nice, it can get a bit hot and sometimes the AC doesn't work, but it's a great budget room for people who want to be in the centre of Cancun.

**An Incredible Hostel Experience!** This is hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The rooms are incredibly spacious and spotless, offering plenty of comfort. The rooftop bar and pool have an amazing vibe, making it the perfect spot to relax and socialize both day and night. The drink selection is top-notch, and the kitchen is clean, spacious, and fully equipped for all guests to use. The staff truly go above and beyond—each and every one of them was exceptionally friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Ani, who handled a difficult customer like a true professional. The location couldn't be better, with the ADO bus stop and a supermarket just a short walk away. If I ever return to Cancun, this hostel will be my first choice without a doubt!

Breakfast way too slow ( this morning 45min wait).
