Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nice location, close to the bus terminal and many food places around. Each bed has a curtain, light and power outlet. Just remember that it’s a party hostel, so it can be loud until the night.

I don't like top bunks and I was placed on the top bunk. I never said anything, though I could of, but other then that everything else was good.
I didn't have a chance to have breakfast, as I left extremally early. I also regret not booking a room on my own, because I didn't like the girls room much. (Nothing to do with the property) All on me. But the staff were awesome, they provided me with great service, and were always smiling. Thank you to Alex at Front Desk reception.

Was supposed to stay 1 night but extended because i loved the place. Really good vibe and if you’re working remote they have a cafe downstairs with ac and good wifi, got a lot of work done. Staff is great. Have stayed in multiple Nomads locations, and all of them have been great. Will definitely return again.

Liked everything. Good value for a small price.
Really nice. I like the style and the rooftop pool a lot! The staff is really nice and it’s really clean. The dorms offer a lot of privacy with the curtains. Very good value for money.

The only down side were the rooms, it felt very squeezed eg for a 6 person room especially because there was no window.The AC helped with this but this was the one thing I didn't like. Also the water drainage in the bathroom was clogged and drained slowly which was somewhat problematic when showering
Getting to the hostel from the airport was quite easy as its less than 10minutes walk from the ADO bus station. Shout out to the team for scheduling many activities for the guests like street art tour,taco tour etc. Aside from this the kitchen area was quite spacious and clean for the guests to use.

I find it a bit pricy.
It's a nice place with excellent cleanliness. I appreciated the bit of privacy provided by the curtains for the bunk beds and the coworking areas. The staff is really helpful and friendly, from reception to housekeeping; they all do an excellent job. They also organize several activities, and I really enjoyed the bike tour.

The music from the pool ended late and we had to get up early.
Very nice room, friendly staff. A lot of excursion that are available at the reception desk. If we knew it before, we would save a lot of time on driving and investigating.

Location, is very close to ADO (bus station) so is very cheap and easy to go to the Airport and Hotels Zone. Also blocks away from Parque Las Palapas for street foods and a supermarket across ADO.

Pool only opens at 10am (and they don’t mention it when you arrive) so if you wake up early you can’t access the area and have no other option than stay in your room Breakfast is not good for the price you pay

The bar and restaurant were cool, but the music (DJ) was a little loud! I must be getting old. But yeah, we could hear it on the 2nd floor from the 4th floor!

There is not a lot to do around the hostel, but it is perfect the stay for one night after you have had a long flight. It was a bit expensive.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Enough space and nice shower. Overall, a good experience.

Towards the end of our trip, the hotel got a little busy and we sometimes had to wait to get a table at breakfast or chairs on the beach. Some people would leave their towels on the chairs to reserve them for hours.
The hotel is right on the beach, and provides chairs and umbrellas. There are two pools, including one on the roof that provides panoramic views of the island. Sunsets were amazing every day.

I stayed one night and went on the planned Taco Tour hosted by Carlos. It was a really fun night with a bunch of other travelers and delicious tacos from street vendors. Thanks, Carlos!! Sleeping area was quiet and clean. I enjoyed the stay very much and would stay again.
