Unable to swim on the beachfront due to seagrass and rocks. Not much activities for kids or adults. Guess thats part of the concept. We rented a car to explore more.

Not recommending exchanging money at the hotel - it's not the best rate, although quite convenient.

Friendly, cosy and authentic. We loved being so close to the beach. The breakfast buffet choices were great and you can also order from their menu (try Rancheros). The dinner buffet and options authentic and delicious. Taco Night was our favourite!

Great stay at a smaller resort with big amenities. We loved the location, the pool, the bar, and morning yoga. The room was clean and the staff was amazing. Breakfast and dinner included was great, very thoughtful meals.

Fabulous hotel. Small intimate. Incredible massages on the beach. Food was excellent and the drinks were superb.

can’t swim directly in front of the resort but walk a hundred yards in either direction to have clearer sand. (coral/rocks and tide pools in front are fun for kids to investigate!)

This is gorgeous property with delicious authentic Mexican food and the sweetest staff.

The dinners were tasteless. Very bland. We were hoping to have more authenic Mexican food. Even the Mexican food they served such as barbecue and tacos needed a lot more seasoning.

Housekeepers were onpoint. I met Daniel towards the end of our stay. He made towel animals which made my daughter's day. The property was very clean and organized.

The food and service was really hit and miss. Some good staff in the restaurants and on reception, but some others were completely chaotic and a couple were actually rude. The meals started off as very disappointing but then picked up towards the end of our stay, the service seemed to get better too or maybe we’d just got used to it…. The sunbeds had no cushions and were quite uncomfortable.

A comfortable little bungalow right by the beach and surrounded by wildlife… lovely sitting on our veranda watching monkeys playing in the trees. The beach is glorious. Excellent daily yoga and a very pretty dining room, breakfast was good there. The bungalow was kept beautifully clean with an great array of towel animals.

The beds on the beach were a little worn but I find it difficult to pick any holes in the hotel overall. It was a lovely restful destination and sorry to only be there for a couple of days.

We loved our garden bungalow which was in a peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of normal life Breakfast was very typical of the better standard of hotel in the area with a delicious range of cooked additions to the buffet. The evening meal varied depending on the day - we enjoyed the beach barbecue on Saturday night where the entertainment was informal but just enough and we enjoyed meeting other people at the beach bar. The cocktails were delicious and very moreish with signature drinks on different days like the tropical margarita which was lovely.

The beach is a little bit rocky (even in the swimming area a little further to the left) and the dining / entertainment options are limited both within and outside the property (given the location further away from the center)

We had a garden view hut and it was lovely, however, a few bugs and mosquitos managed to make their way in despite keeping the door shut.

We loved everything about this hotel, the food was really good from the breakfast to the amazing and every day different dinner selection! The hotel is nice , like a retreat, yoga class in the morning, hamac front of your room , sand from your bungalow to the beach, it's feels like Thailand. It's a great hotel if you don't like big resort . Pool is perfect size not too big, great for family. The bar is on the beach and by the pool make it perfect to enjoy every area , great cocktails. Staff are super friendly, love the yoga teacher, she makes me want to register to yoga back home ;).

A bit far out of town and cabs are pricey, this wasn’t a huge issue for us as we were only here for four nights and happy to stay on site for our meals and entertainment. If you get itchy feet I’d say hiring a car would be good.

We got an upgrade to a bungalow overlooking the sea which was just beautiful, natural wood and cream features with a roofed porch so we could watch the sea even whilst it was raining. lovely and romantic. staff were friendly, morning yoga sessions were accessible and nurturing, really enjoyed getting up each morning for that, and I’d highly recommend the sound healing offering . Half board was great and we loved the cook to order meal options.

For us there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

It was like stepping back in time the simplicity of it was top notch The attention to detail in the food was beyond my expectations. All staff went above and beyond to be friendly and it was amazing they would remember your room number. It’s a small resort and it was everything my husband and I were looking for. It’s not a big party place it’s relaxing and friendly.we celebrated our 30 year anniversary here and we will become a regular visitor. If your looking for relaxation great food great drinks not having to make reservations to eat or have a dress code THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE.
