Food at the Restaurants in the hotel wasn’t good ! The Japanese restaurant was terrible

The property looks nice at first appearances, but once out exploring it definitely shows it’s age and need for updating. The pool(s) has missing tiles, many that really detracts from its original beauty. Our shower had rust. The biggest issue is the AC in the room and the staff and management’s lack of response to respond and resolve these problems.

The property location is good, with great view and beach.

rooms were ok. Need separate toilet and shower Hard to get ready. Bed a little uncomfortable. I’m not a big deal about room because my time is spent outside

all the activities for my grand children. there were many for my kids in their 20-40’s as well as for me in my 60’s Buffets for breakfast and dinner were amazing. Friendly staff. Everything in close proximity. Use it’s sister hotel to take the kids to the water parks and adults enjoyed the parties there as well. Shuttles to the marina Check in and check out so simple. Will be going back

Outside of the one restaurant previously mentioned, the rest of the food was mediocre. The food was a major let-down for me. The drinks were water-down and the pool area was in need of some maintenance constantly.

The rooms were decent, and the food at the Japanese restaurant was good. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly.

well property is really run down. paint missing and tile chipped in the pool. I think there is foundation issues too for the building. Every time a wave would crash on the beach it would shake the whole room and we were in a jacuzzi corner suite too that had cracks running up the wall behind the headboard of the bed. also the water for the jacuzzi in our room and on the balcony had yellow to poop looking water coming out. we went and complained the staff said they knew about it and didn’t care that it was brown. food is lacking too it’s good buffet food but past that there isn’t to much. some sit down retardants but usually the food is precooked and just microwaved. just not what we expected for a 8/10 hotel I would give it more of a 3/10 and that’s giving it a lot.

The 24 hour lounge was very poor, you couldn't get food after 2a.m.. unless you ordered room service. The fitness center was too small. My room seemed very cheap and outdated. No place to socialize with music unless walking to another property.

the room needs a lot of repairs. sheets and couch had weird brown stains and smelled bad. also the bed was the worst I have ever slept on, my body aches and my neck is killing me. also the staff was super rude, waiters would take plates out of our hand while still eating, minibar guy would open the door even with me inside telling him to not come

I had to wait for the bedroom to be cleaned on the first day. Toilet was broken on the first day. Safe box was not working. We are a family of 4 and did not have enough bath products for all of us. Had to wait 40mins for someone to bring more bath products. Noisy guests at 2am. Close to the beach but not safe to go into the sea where the hotel is located. I know 3star hotels in Portugal that are much better than this one. Very high price and very low level of service and amenities given the price paid.

We had to wait almost 1 hour before we could go to our room. It was being cleaned. The toilet was broken for the first day. The safe box didn't work. We are a family of 4 and we only had shampoo and shower gel for maybe 2 on the first day. Had to wait 40mins for someone to bring more bath products. We heard noisy guests until 2am everyday of our stay. Not fit for families in my view. The beach is close but it is not safe for people to go into the sea where the hotel is located. In isolation, these issues were not that annoying, except maybe the noise issue, however when they happen in short order and one after another it makes me not to ever go back there, especially for the high price that we paid.

Several beautiful pools, delicious restaurants, attentive staff, fabulous rooms and nightly entertainment with a ton of drink options. Loved the access to the other 2 Riu resorts that were walking distance

not a lot of elevators for such a huge property — prepare to walk some steps food got repetitive fast
