The beach and the location were great. It is a bit “rustic.” If you don’t mind giving up some creature comforts, it’s great for a stay. If you have to have TV and can’t stand any odors from more rudimentary plumbing, it’s probably not your cup of tea.

There is a problem with the pressure and adjustment of the hot water when taking a shower.

The location is excellent, close to the center of events, yet far from the noise of the bars. The beach is excellent, the staff is helpful. Excellent value for money.

Some of the lights in our room would randomly go off and back on again in the evening. Often had to use the bathroom with the lights off, which was a bit annoying. Asked to get it fixed and no one ever came to look at it. Not an issue, but at some point we thought there was a restaurant, there seems like there used to be, but isn’t anymore.

Staff was friendly. There was a cute friendly dog and kitties to visit and the vibe of the place was very laid back.

Water in the shower is quite salty and it’s very hard to find a temperature sweet spot . It’s rather cold or hot. Be ready for several electric power cuts during the evening time.

Location is great, first beach line. It’s quite far from big party areas so no disturbing beats during the night time. Personnel is cheering.

The shower was quite poor - not much flow and the water was salty.

We had the beach view room and it was amazing. Spacious with table and chairs, a fridge and coffee maker. The balcony overlooking the beach was awesome with comfy seats and a hammock - a perfect place to chill. There were beach lounges on the sand for a change of scenery, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a swim. The staff were super nice and helpful and made us feel welcome

The AC runs from 8pm to 6pm, it’s something to keep in mind. The shower temperature and pressure (and it’s a bit salty).

Sivana is a lovely place beautiful beach. The staff are exceptional. Breakfast was such a great start to the day. Parking secure and convenient.They clean the room daily and keep the grounds tidy.

It was just a shame that the beach in Tulum is full of seaweed and apart from restaurants and a few fashion shops there is nothing nearby. Tulum is incredibly expensive and as only breakfast is included, which unfortunately offers very little (toast, jam, coffee, fruit) you spend a lot of money on other restaurants.

The hotel itself was very nice and a great location right on the beach. The room was always clean and the water was refilled every day. The sunbeds on the beach were a dream. The lady at the reception is super friendly and we also took her dog to our hearts. The rest of the staff sometimes seemed unmotivated and annoyed.

Great staff , very helpful . Rooms were comfortable although the a/c was only on certain hours of the day that was not cool. Overall we enjoyed our stay and spend time on the beach that is in front of the hotel.

The electricity goes out a few times during the day. During the night we had no problem with this. I think this is a normal problem among hotels in the region.

The hotel is silent even though it is very close to the best beach clubs in the region. Great place to rest in front of the beach. My room had no mosquitoes and outside I saw very few. Anyone who knows Tulum knows that it is full of mosquitoes but this hotel knows how to keep them away. The staff are very lovely. The breakfast had everything we needed.

Maintenance needs: Continue to touch-up paint. Keep up with dead leaves on paths. Repair wooden decks.

Comfortable beds in small rooms. Small hotel in hot spot of Tulum Beach south. Lovely beach front beds and access to gorgeous white sand beach. Nice breakfast included.

The AC is only available from 8 PM to 6 AM so if you ever want to sleep in and it is a hot day you will likely end up sweaty in bed.

The hotel was a small maybe about 10 rooms, but I liked that about it. The rooms were very clean and they made our bed every day. The staff were the best part! They were all very friendly and helpful, they helped arrange taxis for us and even our Covid test. The free breakfast each morning was also very convenient.
