The noise isolation is none, and the beds and pillows are quite uncomfortable

I had two issues. The first was that I had to leave my ID at the front desk in order to be given the air conditioner remote. They will give you the two remotes for the TV, but not the air conditioner. The second issue was that two of the three ladies working upstairs on the roof terrace would bring us the menu and from that point on I had get up and go to the bar to order food, drinks, etc. and then go back for anything else we wanted. They never came to ask if we needed anything else. The one was busy on her phone the whole time, and the other had earphones on and was listening to her music the whole time. This was mainly at night. The third lady that worked the morning shift did a nice job.

We loved our room at Hotel Sofia. It was good sized, had a table and chair, somewhere to place luggage and a hutch with a place to hang your clothes along with several drawers. There was a nice flat screen TV and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very large. The lady who cleaned our room was delightful and did an excellent job. The upstairs terrace was a really great space to sit and relax.

Walking distance to the centre of Puebla. The accommodation and breakfast are basic but sufficient. The location is amazing, and it was a great place to spend one night as part of our road trip.

The room was extremely hot, hotter than outside, so it was very uncomfortable and we didn't sleep well. There was an electric fan provided but it didn't help much. We couldmt leave the window open at night because it looked out to the internal balcony so it was not secure. Main foyer is also wide open so all noise from the front desk carries through the building. 200ml bottles of water were provided on our arrival but any further were paid for. Breakfast was very poor - one pastry and slices of banana each. You have to pay extra for anything else.

All the noise from the central lobby can be heard up to the bedrooms. So I was woken up before 7AM by a group of loud guests chatting (or shouting) in the lobby

We had a room on the ground floor right next to reception. Unfortunately the doors aren’t very soundproof so we heard guests checking out early, staff chatting etc through the night. If the hotel wants to put rooms there then the doors should be more substantial

Hotel is in a very good location - all the main sights are very walkable. Breakfast on the roof terrace was good, too

Wifi didnt work at our room. When we tried to tell the stuff(they dont speak english) they didnt do anything.

Absolutely amazing water pressure! Room was clean, the terrace was a nice place to hang out. Food at the terrace was also really nice.

The service of the receptionist was awful. At breakfast time she told we are not allowed to take it until 9 because she has a group, she did both announce an extra charge for parking, although we were there waiting for the car she didn’t mentioned it and we need to return to pay.

It is well located to get into places by foot.

The room we had was located in a corner above the reception, every morning they would play some sort of music from early in the morning and/or they will be chatting loudly, needless to say you could hear everything in the room. One morning, about 7 am, someone came knocking the door like there was a fire in the building, with extreme urgency, shouting "Yolanda". Obviously, it was the wrong room, but no apologies. Plus, even if we had requested a wake-up call, they shouldn't knock a door that way. It felt like they were taking down the door. Unacceptable in a hotel that wants to be a boutique hotel, with room prices above most in the area. The room itself was OK, as per pictures, no windows, the internet in the room was slow and unstable.

The reception area and general common areas are clean and inviting. The rooftop is nice and relaxing. The room was modern, and all clean. The shower was really nice, with good pressure and hot water

Beds were a little hard. Building can be a little echoey but only a problem if you have noisy neighbors.

Great location, just blocks to the Zócalo, Museo Amparo, El Parian, and lots of restaurants nearby. Helpful and friendly staff. Laundry service. Nice little restaurant with great Milanesa tortas.
