We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United Statesmaid service did not come during the three days we were there. There was so much security and resticted access for others to visit us, I thought I was in a prison.

United StatesOur room was supposed to have "a private balcony or small terrace with panoramic views of the Cabo San Lucas marina and Sea of Cortez." Turns out our patial was behind the restaurant, with about fifteen yards to the first table. Sitting outside would basically be face to face with diners. The other half of the view was a blind wall. To their credit, the staff allowed us to relocate to a room with a better view, but with a toilet that kept running day and night. We reported it, but it didn't get fixed during our stay. There are other lapses in maintenance, like outdoor pillows that are torn, and the world's worst music mix at the pool in the evening (angry early nineties rock). All in all not bad, but the hotel could use some TLC.
Great location, great breakfast, nice buffet breakfast restaurant with view over the marina, good improvisation when relocating the breakfast during hurricane Hilary, great service changing our room when the view initially was disappointing.

United StatesPeople staying there should know that they fumigate all the rooms regularly. We found a note under our door on the next-to-last night that the room would be fumigated the next day. The note said that the chemicals would not harm humans but the internet says that all fumigation is bad for people. They offered to skip our room, but it was at the top of narrow stairs and it seemed as if the chemicals would reach the room. Finally they moved us to a place that had been fumigated several weeks before.
The hotel was in a great location, right in the marina. The room was quite comfortable with a nice balcony and view. The breakfast was good, although we should have done the other option and gone to the restaurant which we did the last day and it was much better. The hotel is right on the malecon, and it's easy to walk all around the harbor. There are so many people on the docks trying to sell tours and trips but they aren't too insistent. We were happy with the location and the room.

AustraliaFirstly we were given a room facing the city and the bar across the road was WAY too loud. We asked to move and they were happy to help and the second room was MUCH better. The photos are not accurate to what we found. The room is completely different to the photos.
We liked the pool area, the bar and the buffet breakfast. We were happy to be allocated a different room when our first one was way too loud with music from across the road. The bar staff are very friendly.

United StatesOne day while at breakfast, a piece of the building fell off and landed on the sidewalk by the restaurant. Luckily no one was hurt, but it made me question the maintenance of the building. Something was wrong with the airconditioner in my room and it never really cooled down past about 76. It was not comfortable during the day, but was better in the evening hours. I found that after I got back random charges appeared on my credit card bill from Tesoro Los Cabos.
Beautiful view. Close to pool and breakfast buffet. I had injured my knee and the hotel staff provided a wheel chair to help me to be a part of my travel group instead of just staying in the room.

United StatesThe two main restaurants - The Lighthouse and the Vista Rooftop - have a lot of overlap in both their menu and their ambiance. Great food options and experience, but the similarities cut down the value of their all-inclusive package.
Hotel Tesoro has tons of knowledgeable staff working predictable schedules. Whether it's housekeeping, waitstaff, or reception, you know you are going to get somebody super competent when you need assistance. Our room had an immaculate view of the bustling marina.
