Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe loungers on beach and rooftop were always saved. We asked staff on our last day, and they helped us get an umbrella. It pays to ask for help.
Oceanfront, bedrooms made for great sleep, very modern. Kitchen had induction burners. Staff was AMAZING! Shout out to Eli and Valeria! They helped us have an amazing stay!

United KingdomShortage of beach beds compounded by greedy other guests claiming them from 6.30 am but often not appearing on the beach until midday. Hotel management should “unclaim” beds not used for 2 hours or claimed before 8.00 am but seem frightened to do so. Foul undrinkable coffee served with breakfast
Lovely and helpful staff Clean and comfortable accommodation Good location and great private beach

United States3 restaurants, 3 different billings, bar closes at 6pm, no liquor for room service, no cash accepted, apartments don’t have any kitchen equipment even if sold as fully equipped. One of the restaurant is not up to par with the hotel

United KingdomWe loved our time at The Fives Oceanfront. The room was comfortable, the pools and beach area were lovely and the food was very good at the romarley beach bar (we didn’t try the other places). Everyone who worked there was great. Highly recommend! Would love to go back!

SwedenStaff was slow in general: to take the order in the restaurants, for checking in,… etc, but otherwise attentive. Food was not a highlight but there were some good surprises.
The facilities were the best, big rooms with very comfortable bed and pillows, beautiful rooftop swimming pool and views

United KingdomBreakfast took an hour - they appeared to be short of staff and lots of customers were getting up to approach staff members. The Perspex panels around the rooftop pool were dirty which blocked some of the view. There were no items at all in the kitchenette, not even a knife or plate. After check in, my luggage did not arrive in my room. I ended up going to the front door to collect it myself.
I enjoyed the peaceful rooftop pool in contrast to the beach club below. The beach was cleaned of seaweed. The room was spacious and the bed comfy.

United StatesForced to do Sales Pitch!
Great Hotel, beautiful facility. Breakfast was OK. Did not like the set up for the sales pitch to buy in, but we did receive a very nice gift for going to it. Entertainment was great!! Appreciated the seagrass removal!

United KingdomThere are class A and class B guests, depending on the package they bought. I only had breakfast included, and I could see the difference in they way they treated all-inclusive guests. Breakfast is not a buffet, and service can be a bit slow and portions small. I could only order 2 things off the menu. It was my birthday, and I communicated it before my arrival and at check-in. They never did anything about it. It's only when I told restaurant staff on the day that they were great about it and surprised me with a little celebration, which was actually super nice.
Fantastic hotel with spacious new bedrooms anc walking distance from the village. I felt safe and I loved walking on the beach. The hotel staff is so helpful and friendly.

GermanyFor the price, breakfast could have been better quality and more variation. We stayed three nights, for this it was fine. But on the third morning I was struggling to choose what to eat. The rooms had small kitchens, but there were no pans/pots, glasses or cutlery so you basically could not use them.
The rooms were big, the beachfront was really nice and the staff were extremely friendly! We really appreciated this.

CanadaIt poured rain and was very windy. Red flags not he beach prevented everyone from swimming and lounging. Very little of the hotel was sheltered from the rain and wind. So you had to stay in your room.

United KingdomNot enough sun beds on beach and drinks a bit expensive Disappointed we booked a junior suite with kitchen and then the kitchen contained no utensils, plates anything unless we paid extra for that facility. What is the point in having a kitchen
Great location, great view from our room and a great setting to walk or just chill. We had a junior suite which gave us lots of room and a kitchen which we couldn’t use completely. Staff very friendly and left you alone if you showed no interest in buying anything.

DenmarkI had booked a partial oceanfront view and got a room tucked into a dark corner, with mainly a view to a wall and only a glimpse of the ocean when standing right by the edge of the balcony. Apparently I had pretty much the worst room in the hotel, on the ground floor, and all rooms above ground floor have a view. All balconies are not private, the partitions are see-through.
Lovely pools, great beach and rooftop bar, comfortable beds, nice beach which was kept clean of seaweed by the staff. Quiet place, very helpful staff. Free bicycles to borrow. Strong wifi.

CanadaWhen you arrive, you are approached by epic travelers, which is a pressured sales job to buy membership to other hotels they are associated with. they arrange a meeting with you which takes about two hours and then pressure you to spend $50,000. We had no idea what it was about, and it was the start of our trip, which made it uncomfortable and upsetting . It felt sleazy, and it was hard to trust the staff after that terrible experience . The hotel itself is gorgeous, the front desk, staff and servers are lovely. I highly suggest when epic travelers approach to you you just say no, and walk away and not get pulled in. Even though the hotel was great, we saw these people all week while we were at the hotel, and it was so upsetting to me. We probably would not go back.
It’s a beautiful property in a lovely town. Our room was gorgeous with a few of the ocean and a double bathtub on the balcony.
