Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

United StatesI got the standard jungle room. It was very damp and had a distinct smell like mold. All my clothes smelled like the room in the end, which was extremely off-putting. The sound-proofing was not great as I could hear the bathroom fan of the adjacent room, and all of their bathroom activity. Had to request for a room change overall. For the price I paid, I definitely expected better, especially with all the incredible reviews here.
The place is beautiful architecturally, nice setting and quite calm. I came to relax and the property is overall nice. Access to the beach is through Encantada, which is beautiful as well. Beach was great and the location was perfect for walking to other restaurants. Service was wonderful and they were very fast communicating.

CyprusSome additional lighting in the rooms would have been very helpful!
The location is 10/10 even though they are providing guests with bicycles for free every day upon request (some other hotels are charging them). The cleanliness has exceeded our expectations - at moments you don't even remember that you're in the middle of the jungle! The breakfast is very nice (the granola is YUM) and it is served a la carte (I believe all breakfasts in Tulum are served a la carte to be honest). The staff members are super helpful and kind and we were chatting with them via Whatsapp during our whole stay for whatever we needed. The best thing is that we were allowed to use the beach area with sun beds and towels at the hotels across the road (Encantada, Nest etc) as they are all under the same umbrella!

The staff were incredible. They helped us with anything and everything and were so quick to respond throughout. We’d like to especially mention Alejandra who went above and beyond in the service that she provided us. The location was excellent too and away from the noise but also close enough to all the restaurants and beach clubs. We also loved that we could access a bunch of other places owned by the same group (Nest, Encantada etc)

United KingdomNothing, I think the only issue we had was that the bedroom floor boards above us are noisy when walking at time. However, it doesn’t ruin the rooms complexity.
The property is amazing, it’s just down the end of the main strip and offers excellent beach access as well. The room was clean and perfect, it looked out onto the pool. The staff are extremely friendly and go the extra mile to make your stay the best it can be.

United StatesWell, there's one minor thing - the lighting could be more efficient. I generally don't mind the dim lights, it is a conscious design choice and adds ambiance, but sometimes I wish I had an option, at least, to have more light in shower and in bathroom in general.
We had a great stay at Radhoo! The property is beautiful, there is a strong jungle vibe which we got even without staying in the upper rooms. The boardwalk to the bungalows through palm, the abundance of greenery - I mean, Tulum is very green overall, but Radhoo even more so. It is also pretty quiet, even on the nights when there are parties. Perfect location on my opinion - equally removed from all party places (but all of them are easily walkable), but not too far down the road. The room was spacious, with double vanity in the bathroom and enough storage. Bed was comfortable. No insects or anything inside the bungalow. The breakfast included in the rate was good too in my opinion, very filling and with decent variety, and also some add-on options for a reasonable extra fee. As many reviewers mentioned, the access to the beach is provided through the Encantada hotel across the road, which is literally 5 steps. This is a sister property and they share some of the staff it seems. Now, about the staff - people really are the main treasure of this place. They are terrific. Attentive, quick, helpful, and just nice and welcoming. I understand that hospitality is their job, and the guys are good at that, and I really felt it.

United KingdomNothing not to like
Faultless ! Amazing staff that go above and beyond to help. Menu throughout the day is fantastic. Access to beach provided by Nest their sister beach club, which is great given the fact it is near on impossible to access it without paying everywhere else! Great location at the southern end of the beach zone. Just far enough away not to have to listen to the 'bigger name' bars/restaurants playing (imo) very untulumesque music, but close enough to walk to all the action !

IrelandFirst a note on Tulum itself: Tulum is expensive, bad value, and not luxurious. You're going there for the beach and partying if that's your thing. Supply and demand dictate the high prices everywhere so accept that when you book the trip, no matter where you stay; there's endless quiet beach towns elsewhere in the world that are a fraction of the price and better. But if you must go to Tulum... then Radhoo is a great option :) The hotels luxury does not match the price tag, again you're staying here to be close to the beach etc, and the price is driven by demand. So don't expect 5 star hotel room or faclities. I've staying in lots of high price hotels and 5 star places, and Tulum in general has the biggest gap between price and quality of physical hotel room/facilities I've seen. This doesn't mean it's bad, it just mean it's very overpriced for what you get, so just tailor your expectations going to Tulum (not just this hotel, any!) The hotel is in a quiet part of south Tulum beach, but to get there you have to drive through Tulum and the traffic is crazy - can take you 30mins to go 1km (no joke) so give yourself lots of time for getting places on the tiny coast road. Hotel room didn't have a desk or vanity mirror which is annoying if you're getting ready to go out. Rooms are big, but you have to leave your stuff all over the floor as there's no where to put anything. Again, not a bad hotel, just very overpriced like everything in Tulum
Staff - Genuinely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Whatsapp messaging to the front desk if you need anything. We arrived very late on the first night an they had food left in our room as the kitchen had closed when we got there, very nice service! Valet parking etc too. Can't compliment the people there enough! Shared facilities with other Hotels - Radhoo is one of several hotels that appear to all be owned by the same company and as such share resources. For instance, Nu restaurant seems to do the food for Radhoo and several other hotels (which is a good thing!) and whilst Radhoo is not on the beach (it's across the road) you can use the beach club/loungers at 2 other hotels (when we were there). Radhoo is cheaper than its sister hotels because it's not on the beach, but it's genuinely the same standard of service, food etc, you're just missing the sea view from your room, that's it. The cost saving is huge here (less than half compared to hotel across the road) so I would recommend Radhoo as a cost conscious alternative with no sacrifice in service/experience. Quiet end of Tulum beach - if you stay further north you'll be in the nightclubs and loud bars. The Beach - this is why you're here! And this part of the beach is wider, nicer, and quieter than most of the Tulum beachfront. Big pool and lounge area - For when it's very windy at the beach and you want to lounge in the sun, this pool area is great to have!

United KingdomThe breakfast area was tucked off to one side. It would've been nice to have a better view. The views of the jungle shown in the images are only available to those who are in the higher rooms. There isn't communal space up there, unfortunately.
The setting is beautiful. Lovely pool area with great cocktails. You can access the beach via the sister Hotel, Encatada, and check sunbeds etc via the fab concierge team.
