It is ideal backpackers accomodation. Friendly and very helpful staff, low budget service. It included basic breakfast. And it is right in the center!

However, the toilet had flushing issues, and there were no separate male or female restrooms or individual shower facilities. Additionally, there were no designated changing areas, no toilet paper provided, and our room lacked a window.

The property is situated in the heart of Kuching, making everything easily accessible on foot. The street is lined with bars, restaurants, and even a supermarket just a short 5-minute walk away. The accommodations are simple but adequate, ideal for a short stay. There is a young man at the reception (I believe his name is Wang) who was extremely helpful, polite, and kind.

As I had a room facing the street, traffic noice was little bit loud. Problem solved with earplugs ;)

Good location from 10 min walk from the waterfront area, many places to eat nearby. Nice self-made breakfast with tea/coffee, toast with different toppings, bananas, peanuts... I also liked a chance to leave my big backpack to storage after check-out.

MY BAD, I DIDN'T EXPECT THE BATHROOM AND TOILET WILL BE SHARING WITH OTHERS. I DIDN'T READ THEIR ADVERTISEMENT PROPERLY.

ROOM IS CLEAN BUT THE TRASH BIN SO SMALL. WASHROOM ALSO CLEAN. FRIENDLY STAFF. THEIR ROOMS ARE FAR FROM ANY NOISY ACTIVITIES AROUND ALTHOUGH WE'RE SURROUNDED BY ROADS AND SHOPS.

The manager (?) was always in his room and so there was never any staff at reception and all the lights etc were turned off. It felt a bit eerie at times for this reason

Room was very small with no windows (slightly misleading description saying the room offers a pool with a view, seeing as neither the room nor pool have a view). Bed was extremely uncomfortable (the worst we’ve had in our 6 week trip in Southeast Asia so far) - an old spring bed which creaked whenever we moved. We could feel the individual springs just by running our hands over the bed. So sleeping on it was extremely uncomfortable and we both had back pain after. Also, one small blanket is provided which can barely cover two people sleeping near the middle.

AC was strong and water pressure in the shower was good. Host was communicative and responsive via whatsapp (but don’t expect anyone to be at the front desk most of the time). Location is ok, next to a lot of nice restaurants, but a 20+ minute walk to the central location (nontrivial in the heat!)

You might get disappointed if you are hoping for a Nice swimming pool and served breakfast. Outdoor space is really just that, a space outside, and breakfast is toast and cereal you can take.

I had the private room with bathroom and window, this was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was nice. Staff was friendly and explained where to get the bus to Bako etc.

This place needs a little bit of work to be cozy/attractive again. The rooftop is very dirty now, but it has a lot of potential. The pool was empty which was a bit disappointed for us. It can be much more than it is right now.

Wayne was very kind. He responded very quickly when there was a question/problem. A lot of toilets and showers! Perfect location, close to foodshops, waterfront, shops, ... Bed was also comfortable!

The stairs and the walkway if it can be improved it will really good other than that it is worth of money to stay

Free breakfast is really very basic but it's nice to be provided the option. Some of the facilities weren't in the best condition (eg taps in the common toilet loose and I doubt anyone actually uses the pool; common fridge was absolutely stuffed full) but we could live with it for a few days.

I stay at room Gading at the 1st floor and it is noisy everytime when people walking. 1 of the sink at the 1st floor is stuck and it look a bit disgusting. I dont have the photo of the sink.
