This place is nice, location wise, very convenient, one of the famous local food complex is right beside. Staffs are friendly, bed is comfortable. Everything is nice esp at this price, will come back again!

Staff very helpful i wrongly pin location to Citadines Lebuh Nordin so the Grab driver not able to turn back because he already moved to the next location. So I tell the staff and she helps me to go to Citadines Lebuh Nordin to get my food. Really appreciated! Terima kasih adik 😘 2nd thing, because my daughter had a fever so we cannot go out so I order Grab such as from Nasi Kandan beratur (11pm 😆), breakfast we had Macalister nasi lemak, Bae Hwa (hokkien mee and char koay teow its so yummy 😋) In afternoon we order Grab again for Ais tingkap and Hameed mee sotong. Actually because the hotel is stategic location so you able to order varities of foods. Lastly, you can enjoy 24/7 free flow coffee and tea. And also they provide biscuits for you and kids to enjoy! We stayed in Studio Executive it’s can accomodate 5 people (3a+2k 6yo and 3yo) and also they have kitchen appliances, microwave, fridge, rice cooker). Overall, we enjoyed the 3 days stay in Citadines! Thank you, Sarah ❤️

Had an unpleasant experience in the earlier hotel we have booked at Lyf. The room we had booked had a smell and thus we couldn't checked in at the very last min (we arrived around 4pm). Was given an alternative room but it didn't meet our expectations. Staffs are friendly at Lyf though. We decided to seek full refunds and went straight to Citadine Connect Cecil to try our luck. Upon arrival, we met up with front desk Jack whom assisted throughout the entire booking process. Jack is very helpful and also provided us the best services we could have asked for. Guess we need more people like him in Singapore. Overall experience at Citadines was great. The hotel was new and well maintained till date. It was also cleaned. The rooms are cleaned and the colour theme is perfect for couple or for family stay. Despite rated as a 3 stars hotel, the team and also the hotel have gone beyond our expectations and making us feel like we are in a 5 stars hotel. Definitely choose to stay with Citadines on our next visit. Hopefully members of ASR will have better benefits than online platform in the future. KEEP IT UP!

Great central location, with Cecil Market around the corner where you can taste authentic local Penang food. The hotel is relatively new at the time of my stay and it was equipped with all the modern amenities that you would expect. They do not provide bottled water in the rooms, but they have filtered water dispenser on each floor. You can fill your water bottles there anytime of the day. Freshly ground coffee is served to all guests 24x7 at the lobby which is a plus. Staff service and responsiveness is superb. This hotel will certainly give the large international hotel chains in Penang a run for their money.

Would be good to have bottled water provided, so we could bring out. Would be nice if the pool was not under maintenance when we were there. Plus point if there is breakfast option.

The room size is small. There are very limited parking spaces inside the property. You might end up parking at the roadside council parking. It can be cumbersome, especially in the morning, where parking can be an issue with the locals going to Cecil Market.

It is located just across the Cecil Market, which makes breakfast hunting easier. The hotel room is clean, and there is a water dispenser machine placed at every corner alongside the walkway. You just need to bring along a water bottle to refill, which is very environmentally friendly and save us from constantly having to buy and carry bottled mineral water.

Toilet ventilation can be improved. Towels do not dry overnight even when we hang them up to dry.

Less than 5 minutes walk to market that serves penang delicacies. Security staff who double up as coffee baristas whip up good complimentary lattes. Front office is hospitable

It would have been nice to have been a bit nearer the main parts of George Town. However taxis were very cheap so not a real problem.

Nice and clean with complimentry top quality coffee at the Lobby. Staffs are friendly and well trained. The gym needs a pair of 5kg dumbbells. Stayed 9days, it would have been better if the pool is not closed for repairs everyday. Will be back again in April. Thank you.

The Room soundproof is very bad and no good, you can hear the Car moving noise loudly and people talking arround. you cant sleep well by disturb noise at the midhignt.

It was relaxed stay at Citadines Connect Cecil Penang. The room was clean and spacious, good amenities. There are free coffee all day, snack and water dispenser. The swimming pool is good and my niece like it very much. The location near food court, mall, Nasi kandar deen maju. Very cool airconditioner is really nice after walking around in hot weather. We able to check out at 12 pm.

The location is a bit away from the main attractions. You can walk for a while, but in the heat it's not easy sometimes. But you can easily take a taxi. The lobby and sitting area in the ground floor was VERY cold and they were constantly playing Chinese music, too loud and without break, so it was not so easy to work from there if you have to work online.

Comfortable, clean room, modern small gym, nice pool, convenient water dispensers. It's a neat place and Avenue Mall is within walking distance. Overall I would recommend all the Citadines hotels I stayed in so far.

One of the best hotels whilst staying in Malaysia, wished we booked to stay longer. Had everything you'd need - clean and modern room and bathroom. The air-conditioning was perfect (some places it's directly onto the bed and makes me ill, but not this place, perfect temperature) and it was quiet so we slept really well, water stations on each floor, free complementary coffee in the lobby area and friendly staff. 15 minute walk into the centre of George Town.
