Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I booked 3 rooms via Booking.com and already paid all fee on July 12th. When I checked in, your sfaff & supervisor confirmed that I will not be charge any fee more. But, on Aug 20th you continue charged me 10 Euro without any inform and receipt . I’m so disappointed!

Beds are extremely comfortable, I had superb sleep every single time. Rooms are well appointed. People are nice and helpful and of course the free shuttle arrangement was super useful. Nice location too.

Had a solo staycation at Four Points for my birthday. Checked in with a receptionist named Puteri. She was absolutely sweet for planning a surprised birthday cake at my room door alongside with other staffs. It definitely made my day! Thank you Puteri and team for your hospitality :)

Reception - wait more than 30 minutes for check in. 1 customer need around 20 minutes for check in, very slow.
Room - Clean and big. bed very comfortable. Breakfast - good and a lot of choice, is over my expectation. And staff very nice and friendly. Location - very convenience, near by hotel have a lot of restaurant and drinking place.

Musty smell in the hotel room, fungus and mold found in the bathroom, mouldy shower head, many stains on the bench top, blockage in the basin, smelly carpet, saliva stains on the pillow and the pillow case, loosely tied bedsheets, very noisy air conditioning ductings, quite poorly maintained common area.

The reception staff are good. Poor Training especially for the wait staff and house keeping. There’s 3 instances of poor behaviour. 1. Went to breakfast on my 1st morning, inform the staff of my room number. Ate halfway, and another staff who don’t understand English well came up to ask me for my room number. If she did it once, maybe it could be a mis-understanding. But she came to the table twice, makes me feel like I am not supposed to be there. 2. Came back fast from breakfast, and the staff had already clean the room. Felt that both my towels are too wet, and asked why he didn’t change my towels. He claimed it’s because it is a Sunday, so they don’t change towels. Unacceptable. 3. I stayed for 5 nights, and for the last 2 nights, I realised that not only do they not change the towels, I don’t think they changed the bedsheets at all. Super Unacceptable.
Good Location with plenty of good food within walking distance.
