My stay at this hotel was a letdown on multiple fronts. Big désappointement. The room, cramped at 50 square meters, felt more like a prison cell with NO WINDOW. The staff's unfriendly and rude demeanor added to the disappointment. A $13 charge for a 2h early check-in highlighted a questionable value for money. Basic amenities were missing – no water, no tea, and no fridge. The uncomfortably firm bed and flat pillows. If you come early or leave late, there is no place to leave your suitcases were additional drawbacks. To top it off, the room had a persistent humidity smell ( in the beds and pillows as well) leading to health issues. NO HOT water in the shower, we had a small water heater that had one button to turn the shower on, more than basic. The water comes out barely warm. Overall, not recommended for a satisfactory stay. Added to a clogged sink.

The location is the only good thing about this place.

I was surprised to discover that there is no one onsite at the hotel, and I needed to use WhatsApp to check-in and get the key. Not a big problem for me, but I couldn't help to think that I have some friends that wouldn't know how to do this. When I had a question or request, I had fast replies via WhatsApp, but would have preferred to see a human. Need to warn people about this.

To be completely honest, we had no complaints whatsoever. Our experience was entirely positive.

The town of Penang is conveniently located, making it easily accessible to various destinations. Walking is recommended for a more immersive experience. Additionally, there is a convenience store located right below the hotel.

The room next door is having renovation. When I was in my room during the day it was so noisy that I had to get out .

Everything about the room . It's lovely and it's very close to the jetty , just 2 minutes walking distance. The room is very neat and provides every basic needs . Self checking in is also very easy . The host will text you a day before the trip about the details and will guide you through on how to get into your room . It was a very lovely stay !

Unfortunately, the ground floor can be quite noisy especially near the entrance and the lift, when guests are coming in. I would still rate it a 10 as this is out of the hotel's control.

The room was spacious and extremely clean for its price. The check-in process was also very smooth and quick. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking to explore within the city centre.

We had a window room at the front. It was noisy. The cafe/bar has live music of an evening. Traffic going past the noise seems to carry. Could hear next door guests very easily. Room is small for two people. There is no fridge.

Good location close to a lot of the attractions in Georgetown. Room was a bit more modern than previous accomodation we had stayed in. (As Georgetown is Unesco listed a lot of buildings around the place need some work but doing any upgrades is a process.) Checkin was easy via message on my phone with instructions. Excellent breakfast available at the hotel next door. Nice cafe/bar across the road.
