In the bedroom it got really cold sometimes during the night, i think because there was something wrong with the ceiling but its okay if you sleep with clothing

It was a very quite place, so the apartment itself was not very social.

The Female Dorm ist located 2min away from the main hostel building in a separate building in an apartment. The apartment has a big living room including tv kitchen and a small balcony which feels like an Airbnb. The dorm was very clean and sweet, with curtains and a bathroom in the dorm.

They charge tourist fee but I didn’t like the fact that is not mention anywhere until after you book Sinks in the toilets get stuck and flood

No duvet, only a single blanket with no top sheet meant a cold nights sleep until an extra blanket was obtained for the second night.

Room in Ethel apartments was very good compared to the hostel, Netflix and Disney on the communal TV was a bonus.

The toilet in our room needed bolting to the floor and the waste pipe leaked when flushed.

Fun location with a night time bar, lots of cats and a basic kitchen. Staff very helpful, mostly international travellers. The cats made our day ;-)

The water dispenser is in the room available between certain hours, so if you have an early bus or come back late, you cant actually get to the water. There could also be more cups etc available at the kitchen.

A great social hostel, very nice room with a bathroom with hot (really hot) water. A small kitchen where you can actually cook, Hot and cold water dispenser. A great bar.

No sound isolation, you hear every person walking by the room or talking on the hallway, no small lamp by the bed, gaps around the fan and window so mosquitos can fly in, super tiny bathroom

This is as basic as it gets but for the money absolutely fair value, was clean, bed was comfy, warm water, wifi worked well, easy check-in, some 5min from the bus station and on a side street of the main road near restaurants and grocery

The staff at this hostel are very friendly, helpful, and generous. I really appreciated having a hot shower, something I didn't expect in this small town. They also provide unlimited filtered water, which is a great perk, as you don't get that at all hostels.

The common bathroom floors were always wet which is not ideal as it gets very cold in the Cameron Highlands. If you bring your own indoor slippers that should be no problem though.

The room, common area and bathroom were clean and the price was good.

It would be nice to have a reading light in the room. Neighbours in the building were sometimes noisy, also at odd hours.

I stayed at the "new wing", which is an apartment on the ground floor of a nine-floor building, a few minutes walking from the main hostel. The apartment has two rooms for two people each and a dormitory for four persons. It has cooking facilities (one-pan induction heater, water boiler, toaster, microwave, fridge), a comfortable sofa, TV and a little seating area outdoors. The room was basic (no cupboard, I received cloth hangers). Also, the staff gave me useful tips for hiking on the jungle trails.

Room without window. You can hear your neighbours speek and snore.

Nice stuff. Nice bar with a lot of games and a pooltable. Common kitchen, cleand up every morning. Super sweet cats with kittens. Clean and simple room. Big common terrace. Free drinking water from 7.30am - 10pm(?).

The room was next to reception so was a bit noisy at times. They would close a door in between during night times, which "helped". Room didn't have a proper window, more like glass blinds that were missing a few, impossible to have some privacy. We could hear other rooms conversations, wasn't great when someone came in the middle of the night and didn't respect quite times. Shower head leaking constantly, we put it on the floor for noise.

Friendly staff, good location, water dispenser available. Booked our activities with reception.

too many cats poops around, please clean the dust under the beds, i need to unlock the sliding window to get the airflow in the room. no ventilation if i close the window. suggest to make another hole at wall for ventilation

very clean double queen beds room… very clean toilet, all new, silent place to stay, very polite staffs, just park my car in front of my room, few steps to get in. plenty parking. double exhaust fans are good! I feel fresh to stay there

The walls were pretty thin, could hear people screaming (for some reason) in the common area which kept us awake. Also the water refill would be a lot easier to use if it was outside the office, we had an early bus to catch and couldn’t refill our bottles in the morning

A decent hostel, private room was pretty basic but did the job. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a kitchen and a nice lounge area, also with kittens
