Nice location and very friendly host and family. The top floor is for guests and below is where the host is staying. The room is quite big and the outside dinning area is very spacious and has all the amenities.

This was one of the nicest homestays we stayed at during our trip. It’s located a bit outside the city and we loved how peaceful and quiet it was. The place offers one of the most beautiful views over the rice fields, especially in the morning during sunrise. The owners are incredibly generous and helpful. We would 100% recommend it!!

The host family very friendly. They do the best to entertain me n my kids. Even teach my kids how to fish nearby paddy ditch just across the hotel. My kids become addicted with fishing since then 😂 Great view from the balcony(my room upper floor) especially in the morning. have a cooking facilities at open air pantry. Great for those who like to cook and eat while enjoy the calm n breazy environment.

Not something I did not like but you do need a car or bike to get around since the accommodation is secluded.

We stayed in LamanLeman for a total of 8 nights. The hospitality we received from the hosts was outstanding. From the local, delicious breakfasts prepared for us (we never asked for them) to the beautiful, peaceful scenery of the rice fields, we enjoyed every minute of it. We rented a car through the host and got to explore the whole island. It was great to come back to calm spot after a day of exploring. Thank you for everything!

This would be subjective, so it’s not necessarily something I didn’t like. It is a kampong area so naturally there will be insects and nature, so it’s all about adapting and knowing what to do which will be to close the windows when you’re out for long periods of time and in the night time.

Located in a kampong (neighbourhood) so you get to be closer the livelihood of the Langkawi locals. Surrounded by paddy fields, you start and end the day with an unforgettable view. The atmosphere is one that is peaceful which contrast well with the bustling tourist areas and activities here. I love coming back after a long activity filled day to a calm and peaceful place. The property felt like a home. Even though we were guest, this warmth exemplified through the hospitality of Mr Sulaiman and his family. In the morning, for us to get a taste of Langkawi, Mr Sulaiman and family will either prepare or venture out to the local street stalls to get breakfast for their guest. I encourage any guest to have a chat with them to learn more about not only about Langkawi and also their story.

The only thing to keep in mind is switch off the lights if you’re going out in the evening as the light attracts mosquitoes. Keep your door shut always. The location doesn’t show in grab so we found it hard to get a driver. But travelling with your own vehicle to/from this place is comfortable. Might be hard to find a cab driver that can take you here.

The owners of this place are really the best! The location is superb, such a perfect place to go right in the middle of a paddy field. Very peaceful stay with good facilities.

What an amazing stay, we have been left speechless. The owners are such a sweethearts. Sulaiman and his wife are superb hosts. The first evening we arrived we were greeted with a welcoming smile and from there started to feel like home. In the morning, the view from the window was breathtaking, so beautiful, so peaceful. The first breakfast was just wow, Sulaiman did like a cooking class showing how to prepare tradition breakfast. His dear wife surprised us every morning with different desserts, the coconut/sugar was my favourite, not sure if she bought it or made it herself, but was super delicious. Also they helped us out renting the Moto, we were very happy with it, gave us the freedom to discover more parts of the island. When we had an issue with a key (we thought we left it inside of the moto) and we were on another side of the island, they drove all the way to bring us a spare key immediately without asking nothing in advance, just to do not worry and continue enjoy our holiday. The location of the hotel is very good, quite and peasfull, but close enough the central beach - just 15 mins drive Another beautiful beach - white scull beach more in the north around 20 mins drive. The airport just a short drive away. The roads in Langkawi are surprisingly good, pretty new and easy to drive, don't doubt to get a Moto, that Sulaiman can help you with. One more veeery important tip, if you are a coffee lover - there is a coffee shop near by called Cofi brew, there I've tried one of the best coffees in my life, you can't miss it. Oh, also Haroo Korean restaurant we enjoyd a lot. And FB caffee - napolitan pizza - very yamee. It's sad to leave this place and the island we enjoyed so much, but it's nice to know, that if we ever come back, we are very welcomed. All the best to this beautiful family and their business.

We recommend everyone to stay at this place. We were warmly welcomed by brother Sulaiman, his wife and cute little son. The view from balcony is amazing. Lovely to hear the call to prayer from the mosque from the balcony. The hosts make sure you have a pleasant stay here. See you next time in Sha Allah.

A bit noisy. A lot of mosque in the surrounding. Due to the proximity of the rice field, there’s a good amount of insects.

We were sad to leave after 3 nights!!!

We loved everything: the room was spacious, calm and super clean. The view on rice fields is amazing. The terrasse and coffee area for guests is very well equipped. We had nice breakfast every morning, on the nice terrasse, many table for guests available. Nice to chill. Owners were ultra nice, communication was very easy, they also helped us to book a scooter with good price for our stay and they drop us at the airport on check out day for free. We loved our stay!!!
