Quite a strategic location in Bukit Mertajam, just a few minutes drive to some famous food locations. Since it is renovated from a double-storey terrace house corner lot, cars can randomly be parked at the road side. The room I booked has a wardrobe that very less homestays have it as per its price charge. Room is nicely designed and decorated, bathroom is very clean with good water pressure, bed is very comfortable.

Not related to the host, but the location may be further than I'd like to be able to get meals conveniently. However there's always food delivery services.

Very friendly host who was very accommodating. There was a very accessible pantry area to have coffee and light meals with a very sophisticated water dispenser. If you prefer fresh air, there is also an outdoor section with tables and chairs to have your tea and unwind. Parking was also ample.

Parking area :- car is park beside the road and under some trees and plans the owner should inform about the falls leaves will make the car so dirty and so many ants was falling to the car make white car to become many ants and yellow marks on whole car.

The location is great and convenient for exploring Bukit Mertajam... be it religious places or delicious hawker food. A coffee shop is just across the road with many Penang hawker food stalls. Host is responsive and happy to provide information regarding places of good food and tourist destinations.

Very nice personal, first of all. Joe Tan helps us with everything , recommend to us places to visit and eat, take us to the railway station early in the morning in order to be on time. Very nice atmosphere inside the room and place at common. Owners made it with deep love to surrounding and their guests, you feel it in the details.

Everything is great. There is a garden for guests to chill. There are living areas to make tea and eat. Fantastic place to stay. The hostess, Joye Tan, is very helpful

We could hear a bit of noise from the street in our room, but it wasn’t too bad and didn’t stop us from sleeping!

We loved our stay here! The host was very nice and helpful, often going out of her way to help us and give us information to make our trip better! The accommodation was well equipped with things such as free drinking water and tea. The room was clean and the accommodation was in a good location near shops, local restaurants and a food court.

Location is a bit far from anything else but u can easily get a grab car whenever u need. A lot of halal food within 10 - 15 mins drive if u have ur own transportation. Parking ur car is relatively safe since it's a housing area. Ample parking lot is depends of the no of guests at a time. Room space may not as big as u expected but with good space management, u will find it enough even for u to perform a solat in the room.

The check-in process is smooth. All without human intervention. The host is very responsive even at late at night. Room is comfy n clean. Air-conditioning is cool, WiFi is great, u even can watch netflix via ur laptop with some normal lagging due to no of users at a time. But it's still good. Bathroom even its shared, it's always clean n dry. They may not providing water bottles at the room but they do have coway so u can have a drinks at any time you like. Just bring ur own bottle.

the bathroom is outside so expecting to shared it with others. parking car would be tricky since no designated parking but you could park beside the house. no muslim friendly restaurant but you could drive about 10 mins away to get your dinner or just foodpanda or grabfood.

good clean well maintained room with separate bathroom, a bit small for twin bed but enough space. very cozy double stories corner lot housing area. its a no man operating hotel so it is very convenient for privacy. wfi is good

The premises is double-storeyed with ground floor being a tea house. The tea scent fills straight up to upper floor, which is really therapeutic in a way. Room was clean, bed was comfy and shared bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The host is a lovely family who showed passionate hospitality towards their guests. Highly recommend.
