There was no elevator so that caught us a bit off guard. When we got in, we decided to put our valuables in the safe only to find out the safe was locked and not working, and our toilet stopped working the evening we got there, the tank stopped refilling. These were minor inconveniences to an otherwise incredible experience in Georgetown.

Loved the location of the hotel, we were only in Georgetown for less than 24hrs, so it was a great base to explore the town from. A lot of attractions, amazing bars and restaurants were within a 15 minute walking distance. The staff were very friendly, and honestly it was good value for what we paid considering the price was on the lower end. Room was cozy and spacious, it was easy to feel comfortable. My partner also drove us from KL to Georgetown so we had been worried about the parking situation, but there is conveniently a parking lot you can pay for right next to the hotel.

The water pressure is small. Sometime the water stop when taking the shower.

Nice exterior building. The Location is close to tourist sites in the old town. The blue mansion is just 2 minutes by walk. Lots of food and cafe in the area. The room is basic but comfortable enough to have a good rest.

I felt a bit self-conscious when I walked on streets from the hotel to those famous street food stalls at night. I had to walk past some dodgy area, which, as a solo traveller, made me feel uncomfortable. During my check-in, although the staff was pleasant (not rude or anything), she was not ready to greet/welcome or introduce anything, which I think it is a letdown experience for staying at a 4-star hotel. Another point is the jacuzzi/bathtub on the second floor. I read the review before my visit and thought I had to book for my slot to use so that the hotel staff can clean the tub in between the booking slots. It turned out the hotel staff told me that I could use it at anytime (seems like a plus), but I did not dare to use it for fearing of unsanitary condition.

Decent hotel very close to the Blue House. The main attractions in Georgetown are within walking distance (less than half an hour). There is a convenience store just across the street. Although the checkout time is at noon sharp, I could leave my luggage at the concierge and spent my afternoon exploring the town.

The bed was too short for a 6 ft person and also the pillows were horrible that gave me a sort neck every morning. Also because it’s a heritage building there is no lifts so if you are on the 2nd level with heaps of luggage watch out. Also the tv was pointless since there is no English Channel.

Location was right in the heart of Penang walking distance to every attractions and eateries.

No lift is a big no no. Room smells so bad after we left the balcony for some time and came back.

The location is very strategic. I like the outdoor bathtub concept and huge balcony where we can just take fresh air and hang out outside. Love the art installation

The bidet spray is missing. It's not their fault but I couldn't early check-in. Check-in at 3PM sharp.

Great location. It's near anywhere in Georgetown. AC is working properly. The room look as good as the picture.

The balcony furniture was stained, the balcony bathtub didn’t hold water for long so couldn’t be used, and sone do the furnishings were very worn. It felt more like a 3 star than a 4 star property. Would look for something else in future.

The location was good, easily walkable to the places I wanted to visit in George Town. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. Also, the staff were friendly.
