Some people would say the location but personally I preferred this side of the island, much more authentic and less focused on tourism.

Everything. I was in a small dorm of 3 beds with curtains for some privacy. There are an extra lamp, a tablet and an electrical outlet at each bed. The room is not very big but sufficient for the 3 of us and air-conditioned. The mattress and pillow are comfortable. There is soap, shampoo and hooks in each bathroom as well as paper toilet. A person takes care of the cleaning all day so it's very clean, everywhere. The common areas are pleasant, with hammocks to relax. The personne in charge is nice and accommodating. For the price, it was really great! I really enjoyed my stay here, I highly recommend!

Very nice hostel in a quiet place but close to shops and restaurants, well equipped with a nice common area. The staff is so kind and so helpful. I really enjoyed my stay in Pangkor Island.

Liked · a clean bed, clean bathrooms, kind staff, a diligent worker, a spacious public space with hammocks, clean kitchen with utensils, i couldn’t ask more. a receptionist guy told me a good restaurant, whose dishes and atmosphere i totally enjoyed. i also had a cool roommate whose hometown is lumut. he told me how brilliant its sea is, how various feature the island has when you go around by bike, which you can rent at the hostel, how various kinds of fish products you can find at the fish market, and so on!!! that was really fortunate. if you want to have a local rustic experience, this hostel is the best one surrounded by a small shops, and factories. local people can’t necessarily speak english, even so, they tried very hard to communicate with me, which i really appreciated. i bought a lot of key chains and wooden bracelets at stalls, which were also really cool!! two hours’ bike tour was also very exciting because you can see monkeys, a big iguana, and chirping birds, as well as various kinds of plants. but you need to climb up a steep hills on the way though. if you like bike-riding, i definitely recommend to take a bike round tour!! a peaceful and ideal place to visit!!

Really lovely common areas to hang about. The guys at the property were very helpful in sorting out scooters etc. They were especially lovely in the fact that on the day we were feeling unwell they brought us some food. It’s a nice area to stay with plenty of restaurants nearby.

very helpful and friendly staff! they organised a bike for rent, brought me fruits, they're just welcoming! being at the eastern side of the island is nice, the ferry is close, good food stalls are nearby but be aware that the beaches are a bit far away..

One of the rooms got some smell. Maybe it was damp or something. I'm not sure. Also, the water pressure is quite slow. I bathed next to the sink because of it.

The facility did not provide good value for the money I paid. There was no water supply earlier in the morning, and the owner had no backup plan to address this issue. At the very least, there should have been a backup tank to ensure a water supply during unforeseen situations. Based on my experience in hospitality, the appropriate charge for this room should be RM 70, but I ended up paying RM 203. Booking.com should verify such discrepancies before offering these accommodations to customers.

The location is close to the temple I am visiting.

The overall standard of our room was poor – everything is run-down there, but a special prize needs to go to the ugliest, most used up towels I have ever been given at a hotel. I would be OK wiping the floor with them – not my face!

The guesthouse is located in a fishing village which feels very vibrant and interesting.

Of the 4 nights I booked, only stayed 1. The room was very small and the window almost had no natural light. The real problem was the motorshop with noise from hammers and motorbikes from early in the morning.
