Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Only knew the facility was undergoing renovation after completing the booking. A few facilities eg. breakfast restaurant, swimming pool and lobby's main entrance for e-hailing were closed. Allthough the hotel made alternative arrangements for this, I wish it was made known prior to the booking to allow guests to make informed choices.

It is under major renovation so most of the facilities are closed like pool, sauna etc.
Good location and rooms are spacious. Lounge facilities are excellent with great drinks and food.

For the most part nothing to comment on other than only area for comment would be the bar staff at the hotel lobby bar. Not the most skilled or friendly
Room was spacious - very clean with a great view over the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a great choice. The location of the hotel was great- we’ve stayed there a few times - albeit years ago. Managed to find the sea food court at top of car park!

the room only provide two socket that have 3 pin socket. near the bed no 3 pin socket so it a bit hard to charge phone near you. hope you can upgrade the 2 pin near the bed to 3 pin socket
the property is very near to the city. easy access to everywhere. thats what i like the most!

There were limited electrical sockets within the room.(Only three except those used for lights and other electronic appliances.)
It is located near the Sarawak riverside and is good for sightseeing in central Kuching.

The swimming pool was closed and we hadn’t been notified in advance. The hotel did however provide a free shuttle to a neighbouring hotel to use their pool. /
Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast choice. Excellent location for walking around Kuching. Room was spacious.

Parking was a big let down. I had check out at 5 in the morning n my rental car was park in the hotel parking. What happened was no one mends the booth at the early hour. Had to walk up 1 floor from the car park, walk out n pay at the machine. Time wasted almost 8 min.

the check in counter bcoz need to stand long time. its a 5 star hotel. for me to have a chair to sit on is more effecient. my que line also being cut by 1 couple and the staff should entertain me first. staff faces are just so so. swimming pool is out or order. just found it after i made my unavailable to cancel reservation.
the housekeeping staff. rooms are cleaned everyday and always in a proper setting. the security man at the entrance lobby are all very welcoming. the bellboy also doing a great job bcoz they know what to do without me asking.

We consider ourselves experienced travelers and "take things as they come" without complaining..
Staff was very friendly and forthcoming.. Rates in Kuching are rather high but affordable for use. Pity that meals and laundry can not be charged directly to the room.

The sofa/couch wasn't very comfortable - probably due to age and the huge number of people that have sat on it.
Cleanliness - superb. Staff - superb. I did not expect any upgrade, so the upgrade to Executive Suite was a pleasant surprise. Helped me finished by legal brief without problems. What a blessing!

WiFi connection is terrible. I need to stand right at the door to get connection. It’s totally not connected inside the room.
