Reception Staff very rude we got to the Hotel early and the receptionist said 3 o'clock check in. We said OK and asked to store our bags she just grunted. When we went to check in at 3 everyone else was doing the same as I approached the Receptionist to check in she shouted What!!. I asked to check in and she said I needed to wait another 10 minutes. Although room was OK the net curtains were missing from one window and the other window the nets were torn to shreds and hanging off. Won't ever book their again

The smell of the towels. Sometimes the odour of vinegar was prevailing.

The Hotel is not modern and a bit of age but it provides good quality and comfort. I stayed on the 7th floor, the water pressure was great. The room had a fridge, a kettle. Water bottles, tea bags and instant coffee were provided daily. There was a saftey box in the room, which as a traveling tourist was helpful. I appreciated the wardrobe and a very comfortable bed with cotton linen which I personally prefer over polyester fibres AC worked fine and reliable.. Should you think the location is not right in the centre of George Town, think about whether you appreciate the stated amenities and a good price to quality relation over a buzzling location. In case you don't want to walk to the busy centre of George Town just use Grab to get to your destination. I made the decision to switch accomodations which I regreted the moment I entered the room of the other hotel.

Parking area not too many, and open space. Ironing shirt is difficult, using centralize iron facility with no place to hang cloths/ shirt and the iron board too close to the wall, and the area a bit hot no fan or air cond. Elevator quite small, sometime only 3 peoples can use as they also carry begs

Location of this hotel is superb, almost all places are a walking distance. Breakfast is good and tasty. The admin staff is good and the room cleaner staff are also good and fast

However at night after return back from dinner there is no parking available due to number of parking is limited. Have to park at area which has to pay RM20/night due to hotel not provide enough parking for guest! Hotel pls improve on this.

Very comfortable stay with nice, clean and simple facilities provided in the room. With nearby walking distance in Maccalister Road, eatery is no problem at all. I will stay again in this property if got a opportunity to travel again to Penang.

Everything is fine, except car parking space, there's not enough parking space for guest, but it's not big issue. It's quite ok, as we still can find parking space nearby.

During booking, it was stated we can check in after 2pm. But we have to wait until 3pm to check in. What is stated in the online booking check in time and what is practiced at the hotel is different.
