Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Got a phone call from Hotel staff out of sudden... Same like when checking in and out, using the monotonous speech to ask, Hello, I am calling from Smile Hotel want to ask for your reviews for your stay. I told her my honest review about cockroach seen in my room, children making noises at corridor at night time. The "she doesn't care" way really make things worse. Not to mention about the super dimmed small room. So I just ended the call. If I have a better option, I will not go back to this place. Chose this for the sake of convenience, just needed a place to stay overnight and there was no real "Hotel" nearby. By the way, you can't pay with credit card too. And they don't provide you official receipt.

first time arrived during check in after i paid, the receptionist never issue to me a receipt of payment and later the issue was when i want to check out, they didn't know the amount to return me the deposit money and asking me the amounted . i am not sure if they refunded me the correct amount. The lift of the hotel is also very slow and they using other type of elevator. but for me the elevator was suck. i am check in for 2 days but for the 2nd days they never tidy my room and also they not replace my towel. i also noticed that they are not provided any 3 in one coffee for guest and the what they called smart tv i was expected was not really smart. the internet connection was lagging and very disappointed. i will never come back to this hotel even they offer me to register membership for free. what a bad experience and i will not recommend to any my fellowship members. thank you for this bad hospitality and i am assure that the hotel management will be regarded if they were not improved their services. i am customers paying for what i am expecting but the reality was cannot be forgettable.

I've stayed at Smile Hotel several times before and after the epidemic period. Unfortunately, the service and quality of your room have declined. 1. The condition of the room is not comparable to the price charged. Room quality needs to be improved 2. The reception staff needs to be a little bit more professional in explaining to customers when problems arise. Service in any hotel is a necessity, other than the service charge that we have paid but most important it's related to your customer loyalty
