The dorm is safe and quiet, comfortable for sleeping. The lobby is big and chill. They also have motorbike rental and the motorbike is very new at reasonable price.

the kitchen was awful, everything smelled bad. Time for a serious cleanup. Put my leftovers in there for one night and the smell was so strong it ruined it.

Some place else was truly some place else. The beds: spacious. The personnel: so friendly and inviting. The vibes: peaceful and many social activities. It was truly amazing.

I had an amazing stay at this backpacker hostel in Penang! The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk to numerous attractions, restaurants, and bars. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The bed was super comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a day of adventures. The common area is spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing or socializing. There’s always something fun happening every night, from movie nights and pool tournaments to live acoustic performances, making it easy to meet fellow travelers and enjoy the community vibe. The real standout is the staff. Every one of them was incredibly welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to make sure guests feel at home. Their hospitality truly enhanced the experience, and it’s a big reason why I’d return to this hostel the next time I visit Penang. It’s a wonderful hostel with a perfect mix of comfort, activities, and exceptional service. Highly recommend!

I appreciated that they organized a Christmas party and activities for the guests, which made my trip truly memorable since it was my first time celebrating Christmas away from home. I also liked how they encouraged guests to participate in group activities, creating opportunities to mingle and connect with others.

It is a very nice aesthetic place to stay as a solo traveller, most importantly, very cool place to connect with people around the world, mostly of your age group. The staff member was kind enough to take my bag up the stairs in front of my bed. There is a kitchen at the rooftop, it gives really coay vibes. I loved it! Every food market is close to this place, I walked two minutes straight from the hotel and ended up on a falafel began wrap cafe at 1 am. The other time, I went to a place called little india, the food was really good there as well.

Great place with a good volunteer team taking care of it. Place is really clean, the beds are good. You don't feal the 36 beds dorms cause it's well arranged. Good locations and nice events on the nights sometimes.

It was a really good experience in Penang. It is a youth hostel with diversity, happiness, and belonging. What attracted me most is that it was so clean and well-equipped with many functional rooms. If u travel alone, this place definitely is a wonderful choice cuz u can know some interesting people here and feel not lonely.

The hostel is super comfortable. The dorms are quiet, dark with good curtains, clean and fresh (ac). The whole hostel gets cleaned multiple times per day. The social vibe is good, not a party hostel (but located just behind the street with the bars), but some activities like trivia, movie night are organized. They also provide suggestions and maps on what to do (there's a lot to do around!) I stayed for nearly 2 weeks 😋😋 I would come back here next time!
