You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was great as a private room however it had more of a place where workers would be accommodated then a hostel vibe.
The room was clean and comfortable. The shower facilities were good.

The water pressure in the bathrooms was very low which made showering difficult.
The rooms were clean, comfy, and spacious. Location is excellent to access a lot of the nightlife and local food stalls.

Parking situation was very complicated. Was told to download an app which was very difficult to use. Parking lot is a 15min walk away, sign said RM1.50 for first hour and an extra RM1 each hour following. Was told by the property that Parking was free between 6pm-8pm. Considering I parked at 4pm and left at 11:30am I was surprised to be charged 34RM if it was meant to be free overnight.
Very reasonably priced and great location - right in the centre of Georgetown a few minutes walk from the bars and main attractions

Room had ants or some tiny bugs crawling ALL over including the bed. Did not meet the hostel keeper as check in was done via WhatsApp.

The hot water dispenser didn’t work. And the water pressure in the showers was very low
The location was great- walking distance from the main tourist attractions like Chew Jetty and Street art, as well as two minutes from a 7-11. Air conditioning worked well. There was also a fridge and microwave for anyone to use. Three bathrooms with toilets and showers + two sinks outside of the cubicle and two hair dryers. Easy to self check in and check out. I would definitely return here

The bathroom was rather dirty most of the times, despite being cleaned daily. So wasn’t deep cleaned. The room had spider webs and dust. You can hear everything from the corridor and some guests are loud while in the morning or during the night.
It was right in the city centre, walkable distance to everything. Materace was comfortable, AC worked well, hot water in the shower.

Barely a drible of water comes out of the shower heads in 2 out of the 3 showers

The so called kitchen area has nothing to offer but for the fridge and a microwave. Table, but no chairs to sit on. Water dispenser with hot option did not work. No utensils, no cups and no plates that could be used for microwaving. Hope it improves. It's on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, you might hate the stairs.
The room alone is basic, but fine. Clean and with a window you can open. Great location.

Floors could have been a bit cleaner and the whole check in with a pin code and lack of actual in-person receptionist may be frustrating for those travelers who are older or do not have cellular data or didn't read the messages. That's why I recommend everyone to contact owner ahead of time to have everything sorted.
Great location and excellent value to price ratio in a quiet area with friendly owner who let me drop off my bags early while waiting for check-in. :)

Appears to be newly set up. Still missing some small details like bowls, plates, and knives to make simple food prep convenient. You'll need mobile data to get self check-in instructions on the day.
The room itself is excellent value for the price. Freshly renovated. Clean. All rooms appear to have outside windows, which is rare in this price range. Also provision of a work desk is very welcome. Room was even not small for a single occupancy in this price range. Location very convenient to tourist areas of Georgetown.

The room and the shared areas were not clean at all. Although it's stated, that the accommodation is basic, cleanliness should not be optional in that case. The floor in the room was very dirty and not vacuumed/mopped/broomed since a few other guests (there were many different hairs all over the floor). And last but not least the towels had s really really bad smell.
The self-check in was super easy, we also arrived early and left the bags in another room which was very convenient for us. The accommodation is simple but does do the job (we had two beds, a table, chair and a shelf). In the common area there were 2 sinks, free drinking water and 2 shower's/toilet's. The location is quite good, as many restaurants are nearby and also a bus station for the line 101 to Penang and the CAT was around the corner.
