Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesEverything about this resort was worth it. My family loved it. The facility is in great condition. The beach is wonderful. The pool is huge and aesthetic. The grounds are immaculate with many plants and water features. There are multiple restaurant options and the food is excellent.

United KingdomUnderstanding the dinner menu can be quite a challenge if you're not familiar with the dishes.
Very friendly & helpful staff. The beach & the view is excellent, especially at sunset. The huge pool & the afternoon snacks. The variety in the gardens of plants, ponds & fountains. Quiet, relaxing location.

MalaysiaFood was unfortunately below average for a 5 stars resort. Most of the Asian selection at the breakfast buffet was either too salty or too sweet. Continental selection was acceptable. Pizza topping( we ordered shawarma chicken) at the bar was overpowering (too much sauce and cheese and everything else except for shawarma chicken itself) , nachos was pretty much a pack of flavoured Doritos with melted cheese on top. Would be good if management does a quality control check for their f&b . Another detail that I wouldn’t expect to see at a 5 stars resort is the plastic kettle (milux) in the room.
Unbeatable location, serene and quiet , perfect getaway from the city. Attentive and friendly staff .

AlbaniaBreakfast was good, unfortunately not much options for vegetarian as my partner is vegatarian (no garlid, no onion and no spring onions). The chef did fried noodle for him but it was too salty! We also have fine dining at the Chef Restaurant on the first night of arrival, however the food was not meet to our expectation and the spaghetti that I ordered too salty!
Beach and Pool was excellent. We managed to spend a quality time in the resort. Pool table and Dart are complementary to us and we enjoy it very much.

United KingdomGreat hotel in a stunning location. We had such a relaxing stay. Our room far exceeded our expectations, staff were all so friendly and helpful and breakfast was great. We spent 3 days happily lazing on very comfortable deckchairs within a few steps of both the pool and sea. Will definitely stay for longer next time. I would recommend a hire car as driving is easy and the resort is not really walking distance from much at all. For us this made it all the more charming though.

SwitzerlandRooms are a bit run down but still very spacious and well furnished. Food (particularly the Asian cuisine) is a bit disappointing for the price - we prefered to take a taxi to get sone more authentic local food in the towns nearby.
Very nice location at a white beach with sunset views. The resort is spacious and feels like a big park - well maintained with lots of ponds and flowers. The area is quite rural so you can enjoy some wildlife (colorful birds, monkeys, lizards) within the resort. Staff is very nice and resort comes with all typical amenities and services. Breakfast buffet is a wide range of continental and local food so everyone will find sth he/she likes.

United KingdomThe hotel food options, particularly at night, were either underwhelming or expensive. The hotel is remote and is a taxi ride from other restaurants and those nearby are still 15 mins in a taxi and are not that good. This was a problem and we'd think twice about returning here. Using down duvets in the tropics seems particularly stupid. It was far too hot at night, even with aircon. Hotel sports bar was a nice touch but near deserted in evenings. Sea was not clear, presumably algae or silt. Was nice though!
Beautiful quiet beach, absolutely stunning and a relief after the hordes in Thailand. Wonderful central garden to hotel. Big room. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Two good pools and pleasant landscaping. A really memorable stay.

Belgium- They offer a transfer to the airport at 65RM, we took a grab for 22RM, so the transfer is way overpriced - Food and drinks are overpriced at around 3-4x the price of the rest of the island (20RM/4 euro for a Coca Cola is just way too much). The quality of the food at the Sands restaurant is also lacking. We had a burger that had salad that looked at least 2 days old. The menus at the different bars/restaurants are also very inconsistent. One day we had a fruit punch which was billed as non-happy hour, while the next day at the same hour/place it was billed under happy hour after we asked about it. - A bit isolated, but you can always take a grab into town
- Very clean, staff is constantly cleaning all areas - Great pool / beach, with a lot of sunbeds and breathtaking views - very friendly staff - Next to the mangrove tour which we recommend - Amazing big room with nice smart tv and movies - Great breakfast with a lot of options - Good pizza at the sportsbar, and good cocktails with happy hour from 17h-20h (cocktails 19.5RM each at happy hour) - Very peaceful and beautiful place

United KingdomSome areas of the hotel are a little tired and are in the process of being smartened up, though none of this affected our stay at all. Service in the Sands restaurant for dinner could be a little hit and miss, sometimes rather slow or difficult to be understood, other times perfect.
The hotel is set in a lovely bay. 2 fabulous pools, one is adults only. Plenty of sunbeds, towels and umbrellas around pool and on the beach, Our suite was exceptional, we had 2 balconies, jars of nibbles, a nespresso coffee machine, a kettle and a fridge, plus plenty of filtered water. The bathroom was very large and well equipped with toiletries, with a separate toilet and shower and a bath with bath salts and petals. We could open up the shutters to have a view of the sea from the bath. Slippers, robes, and very comfy flip flops are available too. Every member of staff was amazing, from the gardener to the chief executive. Always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was great with a wide selection and even a glass or 2 of bubbles if you fancy. The BBQ dinner was fabulous and well worth the money. It is a phenomenal selection of hot and cold food and plenty of bubbles. If you want to eat outside the hotel at all there are a number of restaurants a short distance away, we had a scooter so this was easy for us. Grabs are available but understand they can be difficult to get due to the short journey. Be aware that the restaurants outside the hotel do not sell alcohol (with the exception of 1, Scarborough fish and chips). All in all an outstanding hotel with outstanding staff.

United KingdomWe were on the top floor and there are no lifts. Not really a problem unless you are extremely lazy.
The resounding element was the peace and feeling of privacy and seclusion we experienced here more than other resorts we visited on the island. Highlights included the most beautiful beach, the quietest, child free swimming pool and easy access to the National park nearby.

DenmarkWe booked their weekly saturday barbecue when we checked in, but they lost our reservation. We were still offered a table though. Very minor inconvience. And it can happen. We really loved everything! Keep up the good work
We got to check in almost 3 hours ahead of schedule. The service everyone were so kind and helpful. Some of the food were really good. Loved the Bubble brunch/breakfast and very good croissaints. And their chicken curry was amazing.
