Nothing. All was excellent. I wish there was cheese in breakfast buffet.

The hotel is very clean and staff are super friendly. The location is good and quiet at night, within walking distance (approx. 20mins) from middle of pantai cenang but its nice, we used grab as it was fast, easy and cheap option with a baby 5rm only. There is an amazing restaurant Malay Thai next to hotelvery delicious, friendly people and reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous staff that always greeted us with a smile and were very helpful. The room was compact but clean and with everything you needed. The pool and outside area is a perfect sanctuary. It was lovely to see the buffalo and eagles. Location wise, it was in walking distance to everything you needed. We booked through the lady in reception a boat trip and ferry to Lipe, which was very reasonably priced. Anything further away, we booked a grab. We only ate breakfast one morning but there was a good selection of western and malay options. The bar was a welcoming space with always a friendly face to talk to. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The Bayou Hotel is beautiful, I loved the decor, the space, and the open plan. It looks just like the photos online. I like the staff; they are attentive, friendly, and professional. I checked in a day before my birthday and Nazri, Wani, Liza, Hairul, and Ikmal surprised me with a song and ice cream making it very special for me. The hotel is easy to find, even on Grab which was a plus, since I spent most of my time exploring the island. The location is also central, not far away from the island attractions. Their food is amazing too, I enjoyed the breakfast options and the few a la carte meals I ordered. The Wi-Fi is pretty great too.

The staff were sooooo welcoming - the hotel is immaculate- it should be at least 4*. Food is great, pool is nice and there’s a small gym (like 2/3 treadmills but it’s still there). The bar is great, fully stocked so the bartender can make whatever you want. Location is walking distance to main attractions

Decorative metal frames outside windows were noisy, we were there during a storm and the dripping on these was quite loud, also banging in the wind, not sure what these things bring to the hotel apart from noise!?

Good facilities, nice pool and view from rear of hotel and pool, free pop corn was a nice touch, drinks reasonably priced. Rooms good size but note totally soundproof.

The lack of wardrobe/hanging space especially for drying off wet beach stuff.

Great value, cannot believe it’s only a 3 star. Very clean, large spacious rooms. Breakfast was lovely and unexpected. Really reasonably priced drinks at the bar. Welcome snacks in the room were also a lovely touch. The irons in the corridor and cold water stations were great.

check in could take time depending on the tourist season, when we arrived , none of the rooms were ready, so had to wait till they cleaned the room

one of the best places we have stayed till date, location is ideal if you want to stay close to the center of the town , the night market is walkable, breakfast spread had so much variety, rooms very spacious and comfortable, swimming pool was very well maintained

The staff were so lovely and helpful, they really made our stay. The location of the hotel is excellent - a short walk from the main area, while still being nice and quiet. The pool setting is gorgeous, and it was lovely to have a cocktail by the pool.

Great location, easy walk to Pantai Tengah (beaut sunset spot), we used "Grab" for quick, cheap access to Pantai Cenang. Very friendly staff, special thanks to Deen & Ikmal (bar staff) who both are super friendly & helpful. We fortunately received a complimentary room upgrade to mini suite, 2nd floor, lovely & much appreciated. Pool is shallow 1.2mt depth max, but does the job & gorgeous surrounds.

Nothing. Just to mention that is not on the beach or nearby but it's easy to reach in less than 5 minutes by grab (south east Asia uber)

Clean, new, value for money, good breakfast, bar available for drinks seating by the pool or at the bar. Spacious room and amazing view to the pool, the field and forest for the rooms facing the back of the hotel. Friendly staff

The room we had was super noisy. There was some noise from the pump from the pool, the people in the surrounding rooms and from the hallway. The walls are very thin. If you are noise sensitive probably not ideal - even with earplugs. Unfortunately, the room and furniture was quite a bit older than the pictures indicated.

Super nice open lobby concept and relaxable "garden" with a great pool. The staff was exceptional! Always a happy smile, super helpful and so nice. The breakfast had a great choice between western and asian food and everything was super fresh. The room was always clean (within our one month travel through Malaysia so far the cleanest room). The location is good - there are quite a few restaurants nearby, however if you want to walk to Changi Beach it is a 15-20' walk.

TOUT ! Everything ! I am 45 years old and it’s the first time in my entire life I see ALL staff in a hotel helpful, smiling, happy to talk with guest ! Waow ! Waow ! All of them !
