The breakfast. They can’t make proper half boil eggs or toast. Nasi Lemak is bad. Desserts are good. The hotel is good value for the money.

It’s clean and convenient. Very classic*

They promised to change my room to the one which had a big bed instead of two single beds put together where they put me in (room409) they knew as I complained befits not to ever put me in a room which has 2beds put together. Reason being, I always stay alone and I sleep in the middle of the bed! I cod feel the ‘groove’ between the two beds and it just wasn’t good enough as they should have my record of complain before. Usually they knew what I didn’t like and changed my room but they didn’t have it on the 6th but they said they had it on the 7th and would transfer me. This did not happen

The restaurant staff are usually more cheerful and friendlier than the reception staff but the lady who checked me in was very nice to me abd seemed to know I am a regular

Would prefer a breakfast buffet. Definitely, require a bidet at the toilet.

The entire hotel is well decorated and designed with a consistent oriental 1920s theme. It feels warm, cozy, homely and comfortable. The room reasonably spacious and the bed is very comfortable (hard but firm) We didn't expect to spend more time in the room.

The lobby can get noisy and packed when there are check-ins and some guests don't know how to give others space. The eatery can also get pretty packed and noisy during dinner. We ate elsewhere. The window to our room could be cleaner. There could be more toilet paper ready so we don't have to go asking. Lacking in coffee and tea making amenities.

Room was beautiful. Cosy. Loved the refill water feature and the quality of the toiletries. Location is fun and convenient. Parking is also very pleasant. Many amenities and eateries were walking distance so it was convenient and great.

I feel the lighting was bit low, both in bathroom as well as the room.the breakfast menu was not buffet, but it was limited to the menu prepared by chef. My family did not like the breakfast items as the items were fixed as per the menu.

I like the room, it was clean and spacious and enjoyed the stay. It was quiet, and the room was much cozy.Bathroom was excellent.

The size of the room is rather small and there was no bidet in the toilet area esp being an Asian hotel. There was also no buffet breakfast, though the set meal served of one breakfast meal with coffee and juice for RM35 was rather expensive. I ordered the Avocado Toast for breakfast, yes the Avocado spread was very delicious but the bread was not toasted, so there was no crunch to it.

The Hotel is designed more for bussiness travellers to KL. I love the interior design and the old classic vibe it gave. Besides that the location of the hotel is perfect for moving around KL. Walkable distance to Quill Mall and Heritage Row eateries and there is a Monorail service close by.

A lack of utilities. There's no electric kettle to make a hot drink at night. I brought my 3 in 1 hot chocolate to warm myself at night but to my dismay there's no electric kettle provided. We've been exploring the whole KL city and has brought back some shawarma from the long que of the famous middle east restaurant Damascus for our supper but there's no small microwave provided by the hotel in the room. So we have to go all the way downstairs at the lobby and request for their kitchen to reheat it for us which is not very convenient for the guests. If the hotel cannot provide the microwave in the room at least provide the utilities at the common area for guests to use just like they provide a refill water machine at every floor nearby the lift. However please note that the refill water machine provided has no hot water as well for the guest to make a drink, so no point to bring your 3 in 1 drink. Unless maybe you have to request from the kitchen just for a hot water to make your drink. As for the the breakfast, you have to order ala carte meal as there's no breakfast buffet provided and its quite expensive but the taste is only ok...not to say the breakfast is bad but its just not worth the price. Since you're in the heart of KL and there are a lot of cafes and restaurants around, I would suggest to eat breakfast and lunch outside as it is more savory and satisfying. We only had breakfast once at their hotel, the breakfast was ok but we decided to eat the rest of our meal outside.

Loved the whole interior and detailing which specifically made for Chow Kit Hotel to suit the background culture of chow kit road with elegant and exquisite touch! The hotel was beautifully made and done by an architect & interior designer company called Studio Tack from Brooklyn. The location is very strategic and convenient as it is nearby to all the KL attractions and tourists hot spots!
