The walls of the room have open air sections so id advise a quick spray of mosquito cream before going to bed. Noise also comes through if any other guests are being loud but the place is generally pretty quiet and chill.

Koko the guy that runs the place is an awesome guy. The room was really spacious and the fan kept it super nice and cool throughout the night. One of the comfier beds I’ve had during this trip!

Upgrated to the deluxe room after a day because a friend joined. Unfortunately those matrasses where super thin. But the room itself was very nice!

The matrass was amazing comfy in the standard room. Shared facilities where clean. Love the vibe and open space in the cental area.

I had an amazing time at Kasbah, I will definitely recommend this hostel if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place. All the staff is really nice and help full. It’s all open living, the private room isn’t exactly private with it not having proper walls. We stayed in the double and the noise coming from people outside the room, walking to and from the toilet kept us up for hours, we had to ask to move rooms and it was a lot better. Be prepared for mosquitos and a cold shower! They also left lights on all night which lit up the dorms and the private rooms so very hard to sleep with these on.

The location is good, quick walk to the main strip.

We didn't know the restaurant/kitchen was closed... The place almost seemed abandoned (maybe because of low season).

The common space was very cosy, too bad we were nearly the only guests because it seemed a great place to socialize! Very cute cats who like to cuddle!

Very open to outdoors so a lot of insects and bugs in bedrooms and bathrooms. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to these circumstances but staff were very accommodating with this and gave a full refund for our remaining nights.

Chill hostel with good common area close to Langkawi strip/beach. Mosquito nets on beds.

The dorm beds could have had individual fans as you shared one oscillating between two.

Great place for my stay, Japanese style bed with a fly net which was comfortable. Excellent communal area with plenty of seating with good atmosphere but it was very quiet at night time. Nice and close to the beach too, only 5min walk

Fan are quite slow. The bed is hanging and it's like floating and makes my sleeping quite not comfy.

Close to the restaurant, Cenang beaches, shopping malls and shops. The surrounding material are naturally made (wooden). The aquarium and decorations are giving a natural vibes. The locker is unique.

The Kasbah has a really cool vibe, we really liked it! Great location and good wifi. The restaurant menu looked good (we didn’t try anything though), they even had vegan options 😁

Unfortunately, I gather that since covid they’ve obviously lost a lot of custom and as such many of the activities they used to offer aren’t available anymore. The restaurant is closed and no activities are on offer.

This place has the potential to be a really cool Hostel. Private rooms are huge and the bathroom is great. Shower is super powerful. AC works well in privates.

The other travellers we're quite noisy, since the rooms are open you hear everything, so earplugs come in quite handy. Other than that, no complaints!

Walls were quite thin so we could hear neighbours and call for prayer. There was a menu in the communal area which looked great but wasn’t available.

In a great location with a really chilled out atmosphere. the room was spacious and a nice temperature. Such good value for money. I needed some advice regarding medical services and the host messaged me back quickly.

They got only one fan for two beds and it’s moving left to right, so half of your sleep you are dying from the heat.
