Apart from the occasional lizards near the villa enterance but never inside the room Nothing is bad bad.

One of the bedt hospitality experinces I have ever had The hotel staff are exceptional The in room amenities are all state of the art and new The minibar and complementary personal hygiene equipment are all of high quality The beach is clean. The best of all is the design and decoration they are breath taking.

The property was fine but we were disappointed with langkawi as a destination. No swimming in the ocean as there were jellyfish. Not much to see or do outside the property. Good for just relaxing

Nothing to really say here, other than I was slightly disappointed that the room didn't have an iron and ironing board in it.

I cannot find a bad word to say about this hotel. The rooms were amazing with great views and lovely facilities. The pool at Horizon is by far the best pool I have ever been in and offers incredible sunset views. The staff were all lovely and went the extra mile to make you feel cared for and welcome. Food was also amazing with Langkawi Kitchen and Hai Yan being particular highlights. This was the a very close runner up to being the best hotel we have stayed in, surpassed only by the Four Seasons in Jimbaran Bay, Bali. That is a huge accomplishment for somewhere significantly cheaper.

Facilities are awesome. Staff support great! to move around hotel you staff is driving a buggy! Breakfast really good. It was our first experience with Ritz Carlton hotels and definitely we will choose it again!

This is probably the only thing ... The hotel restaurants are open to outside guests. On one occasion, having rowdy bar drinkers (jumping in the pool!) close to our table really did spoil the dinner experience a bit.

EVERYTHING, absolutely everything was fantastic. From our airport pick up to our drop off, everything exceeded our expectation. Our room was up graded to a suite, which was an incredible surprise, and generous gift, thank you! The suite was very spacious, with sea views, comfortable bed, luxury bathroom. Generous amount of complementary water in the room Access to the sauna and spa bath Buggy transport on site - just call reception and a buggy will pick you up & drop you off within minutes (anywhere within the hotel grounds, which is quite large and hilly) Beautifully manicured gardens, gorgeous pool, and a separate pool for children The breakfast buffet was excellent, fresh and extensive choice Ordering food by the pool or at the beach was easy, and the food comes delivered in a large closed bento box - clean, and hygienic, very good idea. Polite, smily and friendly staff!

It was packed with Chinese tourists and children, making it all rather nightmarish. Vastly over-priced given the circumstances. Was stung by jellyfish while swimming- the lifeguard said "it doesn't hurt much" which was rather obnoxious.

The service at the pool was at first as not as stellar as expected at a 5 star ritz Carlton (e.g. had to ask for water ourselves) but when we addressed this they reacted to it right away and since then the experience was really good.

The resort was amazing. One of the most beautiful resorts we have been to. The pictures were actually not doing justice to the beauty of the place. I was positively surprised by the beach and venues. Really good selection of restaurants and places to relax. I like that fact that they have adults only pool and restaurant (despite we traveled as family). Small things like offering sunscreen at the beach pool were a nice touch and considerate service. The room was really spacious and the view on was spectacular. Loved that the Monkeys came and said hello to our son a couple of times to the balcony. Just remember to keep the doors closed.

The lighting system in the room is very confusing and time-consuming to handle. A completely unnecesssary and inconvenient connection of lights and air conditioning (in the bathroom).

I don't often write reviews, but it would be a shame not to share my experience at the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi and recommend this fantastic place to everyone. Everything was perfect—impeccable services, attention to detail, well-equipped rooms, friendly staff always ready to assist. The breakfast restaurant set in the jungle with a beautiful terrace offered a diverse menu and a generous buffet with very kind employees. Funny fact: during scrambled eggs and lovely capuccino we were visited by the resident monkeys, that were greeting us every morning and stealing sugar from our table. What a lovely day to start the morning! I highly recommend trying the Beach Grill restaurant, where the chef truly impressed us. Besides the excellently prepared food, he crafted a mango salad based on our preferences and on request he prepared for us a “surprise dinner" that was absolutely extraordinary. The Horizon beach bar offered us a beautiful sunset by a chilled rose wine. The music played by the Dj helped the perfect atmosphere along with the fresh and luxurious food. The Chinese restaurant by the ocean, with its elegant design and impeccable food, added to the overall excellence. I used the spa services twice, with the 120-minute massage rituals, used one hou before the facilities like the sauna and jacuzzi, and I left from there relaxed and speechless. At some point we did a walk in the jungle with a guide provided by the hotel. Of course the hike was beautiful, we’ve reached a private beach with a great view, but more than that, we were impressed with the young guide, vast culture and full of knowledge and also his perfect English. Many thanks to Mia, which offered us a perfect lovely evening and a memory that we cannot forget.

we liked everything about this hotel. the location, the staff, the room, the beach, the pool, the restaurants and the food. The staff was so attentive, caring and responsive. We wish could've stayed more because this place is amazing for reset and refreshing. My 4 years' old son enjoyed watching the monkeys as well.

Everything we had a beautiful room. The grounds of the hotel are amazing & the pool and private beach are stunning. Breakfast was fantastic and the food in all of the restaurants was delicious The staff went above and beyond . Jenni the hostess was super friendly & every other staff member we encountered were great . The service was exceptional.

The service in the restaurants was a little bit slow, although we are used to the fast pace of London and we were there to relax, so this wasn't too much of an issue.

Room was sensational. Vert spacious and well appointed. The horizon pool was magnificent. The Spa treatment we had was very good and the staff were, without exception, very friendly and eager to be of service.
