WiFi can be patchy and weak.

The location is the treasure here- surrounded by lush green hills and the sea is clear and clean with a fine nearly white sandy beach. We stayed in the garden suites which are roomy and well equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed the dives and the snorkelling sessions arranged.

One thing that really nagged me alot is the lifeguard. During my experience, the waves on my first day was very rough compared to the waves on my second day. The lifeguard didn’t even allow us to stand on the sand during the second day where there was less waves. Whereas, on the first day we were able to swim. I could see all the guest in distress and was very unhappy of the lifeguard. I called the managment of the hotel, and the management really helped us, we were finally able to swim. For future notes, please choose a proper and a reasonable lifeguard, most people come to Taaras due to the beautiful beach, not the rooms! So please don’t waste people time and money just like that. Additionally, Taaras should have lifeguard jet ski for security and safety purposes or even a net during big waves for people to know till which point they could swim. This would allow many visitors to be able to enjoy the beach and swim as much as they want! Be reasonable, cause the sum of money we are paying isn’t just 1000 or 2000 its more than 20k. So make sure everyone is happy!

One thing that really standout about Taaras is the view from the room and the best nature surrounding the hotel, with coconut trees that looks very well maintained and the best of all the ocean. It felt something out of the world, the water is very prestine and beautiful. Honestly, if my issue is resolved I would really want to pay a visit again. And shoutout to Mr. Saiful, who was the biggest help in every situations and everything!

Aircon in the living space did not work to its full potential.

Exceptional staff and amazing facilities despite the weather while we were there. Room was very clean and tidy and every need was met by the staff at the Tarras Resort.

The food menu is comprehensive but it can actually be improved with japanese fusion food and more steamed dishes (minus thr chillies and spice) as an alternstive to those who cannot take spicy.

This resort's number one feature is the awesome attemtion and careful hospitality.of their staff. Not only do they have attentive receptionists and waitera but there is a guest manager who can operate like a private relatioms.mamager who waots amd follows up on every request amd detail at your beck amd call. It is this first.class service that distinguishes the quality of this resort to be head and shoulders above the rest. I will surely come back to this resort with the rest of my family anf children. One last thing, the yoga classes nd the spa massages are quite special and not to br missed.

Amazing island with white sandy beaches teaming with life. Snorkeling with sea turtles was definitely the highlight of our vacation in Malaysia. The facilities are beautiful and the staff is super kind and helpful.

The pricing can be controlled a little bit for its restaurants given we pay so much for the hotel itself. The restaurants can also provide a different variety of cuisines.

Food and drink prices are reasonably high, specifically for alcoholic beverages.

The beach is absolutely breathtaking and the staff are fantastic! Great place to wind down with lots of activities to ensure you don't get bored. Highly recommend doing Yoga and using the Kayaks.

A bit expensive....mainly the only con....was expecting a bit more corals around the island but this is not dependant of the resort (a bit less chorals than places like Saud red seai in 2023 in terms of submarine life....)
