The breakfast buffet. Please do something about the taste. I have read from reviews about the food in Taaras since many years ago. Luckily you have variety of coffee during breakfast and helpful staffs.

I like everything about the property. I never been to any resort that gives many things complimentary. Free hi tea for two. I thought just a simple welcoming drinks but no. Buffet style hi tea, virgin mocktails and food. Free mini bar in room. Free kayak. Free soft copy photo by photographer. Free pool table game, foosball. Usually we need to put coins to play. Everything i need was in the room. Complete. I don’t need to call and ask this and that. I love it has coffee machine in the room. Room was spacious. They just charged for the extra bed and breakfast for my kids with affordable price. All the staffs were friendly and attentive. Most of all, the view there was breathtaking everywhere. ❤️

The breakfast was underwhelming despite how much we paid for it. I booked three rooms with all the same price but three of them comes in different condition. for example, my room has a smart tv but my sibling doesn’t have and the bathtub was dirty. other than that, the food service is a little slow. maybe because they were under staffed.

Food. Would expect the food to be 5star level but sadly no. The cocktails were not nice. Draft beer was blant, watery. Even kids didn't like their juices. The nuggets was like, weird crumbling texture. Indian food OK la, have taste better outside.

almost everything…the room, facilities, staff , spa,scenery (the water especially super in love) …200% will repeat again..but only one thing please take a look at the food taste and the freshness.. otherwise its will be 10 over 10…tq for the great moment with the taaras team ..tq miss melissa and team(reservations)…turtle lab team…my kids really enjoy with the turtle release programme..tq also to haikal and team (recreation )… and last abg zailani and d geng (transportation)…will see you again…❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

1- The food in the buffet restaurant. To me that's the key improvement they could do. 2- They need to make sure rooms are very clean before new guests arrive. 3- the beach chairs should be clean as well and organised every morning before guests come to the beach. They do a good job cleaning the beach around 7am every day but forget to prepare the chairs.

1- The beach and the ocean is amazing. Soft white sand beach and the ocean so clear. It is really good to go with children, because most of the time the ocean in the Hotel private beach is calm, shallow and perfect for kids to play. 2- The room is pretty and modern furniture. Good quality materials: Wood floor, marble in the bathroom. 3- The staff is super nice and they try their best to help. Always with a smile. 4- The diving recreation center is excellent. We went for turtle and coral snorkelling and my kids loved it. 5- They have a turtle research center and the children can see the little turtles hatching. 6- The beach was cleaned every morning. 7- Even though the hotel was in full capacity the beach wasn't crowded because the hotel offers so many activities to do around. 8- In house Photographers that do complimentary guests photoshoot during their stay (you get one photo for free and buy the rest if you like the result).

Getting to the property is a nightmare-1 hr flight from KL to nearest city - TGG, 40 mins drive to jetty and 40 mins by boat to Redang island. There is a specific schedule for transfers from airport to jetty and jetty to Redang island. And if you are not in time for schedule or flight delay you can spend a whole day in transit. Plus all prices are Taaras overpriced. Staff struggle with English. Food is just average. There is no life outside of the hotel - so stuck in hotel.

Whole hotel felt tired and a bit dilapidated. Some door handles pulled off, towel rails that were loose etc. The food was ok but very over priced for what it was.

The resort is old and outdated, smelly bathrooms, unreliable housekeeping ( come either in the morning or in the evening. You never know). The service staff is not attentive. All in all the resort is good for children but you definitely do not get your money’s worth. I can not recommend. Food choice is limited and not good as well. Rice for example isnt properly cooked….

Taaras charged the prices of a top end resort, but didn't quite deliver. The food was ordinary and no one was quite able to explain what our package inclusions were. That aside, the important stuff was done.

The island itself is lovely. White sand, crystal clear waters, chance to swim with turtles and snorkel a colourful coral reef. Couldn't ask for much more.

Breakfast should be much much better with the price, with the 5-stars status in private beach lack of activities could be done for family within the resorts. Too boring and outdated interior like blast from the past as compare to other counterparts similar 5-stars.

The F&B Melissa Mention when do booking we are pure vegetarian and mention every single detail Email again and whatapps also she say yes we do take note on it then no more reply after that At last there’s nothing for us and this is standalone island no place for us to find vegetarians food for elderly and kids Book an Rm11,000.00 plus hotel but no suitable food for our whole families for 4 days 3 nights That’s most disappointed things and ruined our trip as it’s promised but nothing delivered
