The staff were seldom to be found. People came up to the terrace at 7.30 in the morning to sell me snorkelling trips, fruit, bracelets, etc. They were very persistent and did not leave even when saying no or just ignoring them. The staff didn't seem to do anything about the situation.

This is just a note for future guests: You have to walk up about 50 meters of (somewhat rickety) wooden stairs to get to the cabins. They're uneven in some spots, and not always well lit at night. So, these cabins may not be the best option for those with mobility issues, families with small kids, etc.

Paradise Dunes exceeded our expectations! The view from the cabins is unforgettable. (We enjoyed watching the sun rise and set, as well as whale watching during the day.) The kitchen is fully equipped with the essentials. WiFi can be spotty, but worked for basic things the majority of the time. The property manager is always just a quick message away, willing to help out whenever, with whatever. (He even helps with laundry service.) And the location is unbeatable — less than a 5-minute walk from the beach.

The room and facilities in it were great. It was only accessible by climbing up 70 steps, no problem if you are fairly fit, and meant for a great view. Help was available to carry up luggage on arrival, but not on departure .

Bathrooms and kitchen were missing soap, but it was enough to ask the house manager to provide it. The kitchen could have basic spices (sugar, salt and pepper). Despite the sign at the base of the stairs, street vendors occasionally walk up to the access of the terrace, since there are a lot of windows it's not very good for privacy.

The view is really nice, you can see the dawn on the sea from your bed. The place is spacious and designed with care, the kitchen is well equipped with brand new fridge. The place is very silent and the bed has a very good mattress, one of the most comfortable I have ever had. The house manager Thomas is super nice and always available for any assistance.

The floors and walls have gaps everywhere, which means it is impossible to keep the mosquitos out (not great for a malaria area). The beds had mosquito nets but they had lots of holes and because the floors have gaps to the outside the mosquitos can get in anyway. The building style makes the house nice and ventilated for the warm weather but even with mosquito repellant on and burning coils all through the house we were getting bitten loads.

The view from the Casa vista was phenomenal. The hammock on the deck was one of my favorite spots to relax. The rooms are comfortable. The kitchen is pretty well equipped. Cleaner came in most days which was a nice treat.

Wifi is not working in the Studio, you need to go out to use it. The wifi connection is not super fast, but it’s like that around here. But you’re not coming to Tofo for that!

The studio is well equipped and spacious. Everything was super clean. Nice space on the patio with hammock and 2 chairs and and table. We can watch the whales from the patio. The place is quiet out of the noise of the center. You can walk to the beach and to the center even at night. Thomas is so helpful! Obrigado!

well the door that gives access to the balcony could have a window. at night when you close the door there’s not much air circulation. so in a hot day it might be impossible to fall asleep with no A/C a window would be a nice touch. leaving the door open isn’t a option, because you just don’t know who might come in.

The long stairs but was also fun The house floor. The separation of the woods on the floor allowed to see the land or sand and small insects, geckos, or other crowling they come in. If something falls down, you will never get them. They have to care about this.

The steps up are a little challenging. Of course the very helpful staff were there to lug our bags up and down. At night we just had to be careful with our footing. Well worth the stay! Well worth the views and the perfect location.

The location and view was stunning. The rooms were bright and very spacious. Both bedrooms had a large en suite. The house was quiet and tranquil. The staff, particularly Tomas, were so friendly and helpful and there for us if we needed anything. The room was cleaned everyday. Even our cleaner was super helpful, he arranged a local taxi for us. The location was perfect, a few steps to the beach. A short walk up the beach brought us to the main village with all the restaurants.

After seeing the facilities I canceled. The facility is run down and not well maintained. The room is very small and bed is squized in. The staff were unprofessional. I was just so shocked at what they offered for the amount they charged that I were willing to lose my money and look for another place to stay. The alternative accommodation that we were lucky to get due to a cancelation was lovely and the fee was almost the same what this facility charged. The photo's on booking.com is not a realistic view of all the rooms they offer. I won't recommend it at all.
