Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I was made to make a payment different from the invoice booking.com shared wit me. Also their payment gateway wasn't working, d bank transfer option stressed me a lot, even when the transaction was done in the hotel.

While the staff was polite, I expected a higher level of attentiveness and professionalism, especially for a 4-star property. Attention to detail seemed lacking, with issues such as a persistent leak in the bathroom and a faulty water heater that went unresolved despite complaints. Additionally, I was disappointed by some misleading advertising regarding breakfast; only one breakfast was provided in a double room, even though it was marketed as "breakfast included." On top of that, serving the same breakfast menu for four consecutive days felt monotonous. The lounge was overly dark, which created a cozy vibe at night but felt gloomy during the day when natural light would have been welcome. Finally, housekeeping needs to pay closer attention to linens—stained bedsheets, even if clean, do not belong in a 4-star hotel, as they detract significantly from a guest’s comfort and confidence in the service.
The hotel’s location is excellent, with convenient access to nearby attractions, shopping, and dining, making it ideal for exploring the area. The rooms are spacious, providing ample room to relax, and the artwork throughout the hotel is beautiful, adding a refined aesthetic to the space. I’d recommend that the hotel consider sharing the artist’s name, as it’s likely many guests would be interested in supporting such talent. The food was tasty, with reasonably portioned servings, making dining in the hotel pleasant. Cleanliness met an acceptable standard, though it left some room for improvement.

Parking is on a straight line parking garage or on the street - so imagine if you are parked in and 3 cars have to move before you leave the premises or vice versa. Cleaning Staff/Housekeeping were a total mess - torn bedsheets and towels placed in room after cleaning sometimes. Broken/cracked dishware like plates and trays. Facility reverts to Inverter when public electricity is off, so certain essential services also disappear. No security door stopper/lock from within and no "No Disturb/Clean Room" door notice options.
Good Sized Rooms. Fair entertainment options. Quiet Rooms. Cozy Neighbourhood. Safe Environment, with easy access to most places around Central Lagos. Good Receptionist.

Killed two cockroaches, one in the room and the other in the bathroom. The noise from the reception could be heard from my room on the ground floor. At midnight, I could perceive the frying smell from the kitchen. The hotel charged the same rate as if I were a walk-in instead of that of the app. They claim it's because of the exchange rate. In fairness, once you book, they send a message on you how much you will be charged, despite what is on the app. At some point, it seemed like the AC was not working because the room was hot. The telephone had speaker issues, so the receptionist kept coming to my room to speak with me.
Bed was comfortable and there were more than enough sockets in the room. My room was changed because after I checked in, the AC went off and refused to come back on. The food was good and there was no smoking smell.
