We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel was extremely well laid out, the rooms were very clean, the bed was wonderful. The Wifi and TV were both great. The most important thing was the hotel was wonderfully quiet. This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my many trips to Lagos and will be the only place I consider in the future.

After two back-to-back 12 hour work days, Nordic Hotel was the retreat I needed. They are a courteous, detailed, breath of fresh air in a loud and busy city. Within 3 minutes of an easy check-in, unprompted and for free, they gave fresh watermelon juice in a champagne glass AND a refreshing face towel. Zen and calming space. Relaxing music, tastefully curated interior. Quiet.
