Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandI didn’t get to see any view from the room we stayed in and under the bed was a bit dusty, we called house keeping and this was immediately resolved, but that shouldn’t have happened( dust under the bed)
The hospitality of the staff was excellent, Delian Chisom at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful one and also all the other staff were very friendly and helpful, we couldn’t fault them at all.

United KingdomThe hospitality staff could do much better and pay more detail in ensuring the rooms are cleaned and well stocked.
Breakfast was exquisite and it had a lot of variety. I must be honest it’s one of the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. The spread was really great, and the food was tasty and nicely seasoned. I give the breakfast 9/10

South AfricaNOISE! The construction was horrible in the morning. The windows are not noise cancelling so if you have a room closer to the street side, you hear cars and that is not very relaxing. THEN THE WORST part was the drumming and band outside, it was way too early while we were sleeping, and kept happening throughout the morning. I think once is enough after midday the day or at most twice a day. It was really unpleasant and highly annoying.
The staff were very professional and helpful, the ambience of the hotel, rooftop bar and restaurant and breakfast area were wonderful. The anticipation of our needs and response to our requests were attended to promptly.

United KingdomThe classic burger wasn't really nice. It didn't feel fresh, and the burger was cold. I had to return it and replace it with poundo and traditional bitter leaf soup. Also, i expected the rooms to have more space. Space was an issue for me compared to other similar hotels with the same price/value. Bathroom sink and toilet too close to each other. When you open the toilet seat, it grazes on the toilet paper and toilet holder. it's too cramped and should be redesigned if possible. Expected to see a larger reception area..Reception table looked like an office table rather than the traditional reception style you see in expensive hotels
Clean Friendly staff Very quick response to room service traditional food was really nice Food well presented Concierge excellent The digital lighting and switches were amazing Bed very comfortable Loved the complimentary drinks

Nigeria1) Check in took a long time, my AMEX card could not be used 2) No parking space within the hotel premises, my vehicle was parked outside by the road. 3) Room had lots of digital gadgets (digital curtains) but no instruction manuals 4) Room did not have appropriate dining table for proper meals eating, my room was a suite so there was adequate space to accommodate a dinner table 5) Nearly tripped on incompletely laid carpet around the bed. Carpet slipped because it was not glued to the floor 6) Some of the fittings or decoration piece in the rooms were not professionally installed. Room mirrors are not vertical, vanity mirror too high, only small usable portion 7) Expresso machine had a plug that requires an adaptor to plug into the wall socket
1) Breakfast was awesome, great cappacinno 2) Room services was very prompt 3) Great attitude by the workers 4) Hotel location is great

TurkeyThe gym was undergoing renovations, and it wasn't mentioned in the booking. The breakfast is nice, but I didn't really enjoy the food for my lunch at the piano restaurant. It feels like a mix of different cultural foods. Also, the rooms are so small that even in the bathroom, you need to close the door to have space to use the sink. I had 3 luggage’s can’t fit in the enterance or anywhere.
Their style is different from other hotels. It looks so nice and elite.

FranceCons: - long check in while having done online check in before, quite useless in the end - first room very noisy next to construction, 2h30 to change of room - it was not written on the website and on booking that there was a gym: there is no gym, it's under construction, VERY bothering when you pick a hotel with a gym on purpose - wifi is very bad, keeps disconnecting and low bandwidth - all electronic panel to control light and curtains next to the bed, which seems quite innovative at the beginning, until you try to use it and realize 2 lights are not controled by it and you still have to get up to find how to turn off those lights... - bathroom door is transparent, so in the morning the day light comes in the room through the door - pillows are not fluffy a all - low quality duvet and sheets - you see Hermès amenities on the photos but don't be fooled, you won't have this in a standard room - 30min to wait between ordering breakfast and having it served, only to have hard boiled eggs when you ordered sunny side up, when you work you don't have 30min to wait at breakfast - after having requested through booking.com and through hotel guest portal a late check out, and having it approved twice the hotel contacts you the day of your check out to ask if you're staying an extra night because you didn't check out... and when you arrive to pick your luggage at 5pm they are cleaning your room because they've been told you stayed an extra nght, clearly no communication in this hotel team, and guest platform is a pure waste of time for guests as none of the info put on it were used. - laundry service ok but they forgot half of the clothes when bringing them back - water has a very weird smell both in the sink of the bathroom and the shower, a bit worrying - hair dryer not working - safe broken, couldn't lock it - hotel still under construction - no ATM - no SPA
The place is nice, and has potential. In terms of decoration, design it's probably the best in Lagos. However many things are already broken/ not working and the management of the team is really not working... Service is very bad, if you come for work be ready to waste time (check in, breakfast etc.). Not appropriate for busy people. Really disappointed by the lack of transparency on the fact that there's no gym, it's under construction. Very bothering when you have a schedule of training to maintain and picked a hotel with a gym on purpose. If you look for the best design/ decoration it's probably here, best service/ efficiency is at Radisson Blu Anchorage or Continental. Which is weird because this one look more like a boutique hotel so it should be easier to manage but clearly there's a lack of skills in the teams, and big lack of communication. Don't waste time filling in their guests portal, it's completely useless you'll have to do it all over again at check in, and any request, even approved, you put on their portal, no one is aware of it... Breakfast is of better quality than Radisson or Continental, but no buffet and way too long to be served when you're here for work. Pros: - nice team, inefficient but nice - nice decoration/ design - tablet in the room with Netflix - Nespresso machine in the room - electric opening and closing of curtains from panels on both sides of the bed - clean room - ok food at the restaurant - ok mattress - soft towels - good set of amenities - no need to bring an adaptator, included in the sockets near the bed - USB and micro-USB sockets very enjoyable as they actually work (most of the time in Lagos you have them USB, never micro USB and they don't work)

NigeriaI think I would have appreciated a brochure or some walkthrough at checkin of the available facilities. I didn’t know where some facilities were and my stay was intended to be a small retreat so I didn’t explore but I would have liked to be aware.
The facilities were great and of high quality but the staff and service were top notch! From their eagerness towards my comfort to being accommodating with modifications.

NigeriaCouldn’t even find a fault! I enjoyed every bit of my stay!
The ambience, the warmly welcoming staffs, the food, the serenity, extreme great service ! I had issues with the room’s wifi, and they made sure it was connected, tried every possible thing to detect why and made sure I got WiFi connected back to my room! That for me is a solid 10 putting customers comfort first! I love it

NigeriaOverpriced 3 star hotel. The check in process took an hour and was a poor first impression. The elevator had filthy carpet and a flimsy mirror which could potentially cause serious harm. Was ushered into room 106, which had exposed hanging wires/electrical box & later closed by maintenance/electrical personnel (who offered no apologies). Room was filthy (dust, visible hair, nail clippings, fingerprints) and Clorox wipes became my best friend. Trash can was emptied multiple times by Delian Hassan d/t amount of cleaning I did on check in, could tell he was embarrassed by the visible filth I found. The bed sheets, pillows & robe were severely itchy/uncomfortable. I drycleaned a dress and shorts for stains and hotel did a fantastic job getting it out. However, I the shorts/dress were severely itchy when I tried to wear again. I lost confidence in the room cleaning service as bedsheet itching worsened & I had to re-wipe (mostly toilet) afterwards. I declined room cleaning and opted for replacement towels and trash changes. The plug for hair dryer didn’t fit into the wall socket and it took 3 staff “Delian”s to fix. Disappointing. Breakfast at the piano restaurant had the same, daily, boring options, & pretentious service by staff. They provided wrong information about the time for breakfast and charged 20k when we presented at 10.30am. They seem eager to hurry out hotel guests and usher in non-hotel guests. I found the manager "Delian Samuel" to be unprofessional, rude & with body odor. The Delborough water had an unpleasant taste & they charge you for alternative options. Visited Dani twice, found it a pretentious, overpriced, & incompetent. They ruined Christmas dinner. A very long way from Michelin recognition. Rented a driver with hotel for 2 days, he was late/unprofessional (told me he needed to go to the mosque while on duty). Security seemed always overly anxious.
Having to finally check out.
