The place is overpriced.. For such price for a room I was expected that there will be hot water in the bathroom.

Breakfast was OK; For lunch you will pay. Because there is no alternative place for lunch and diner, you will eat in the hostel restaurant. Take into consideration that everything is overpriced,

Built into the crater wall that encircles the lake, this little resort functions on various levels, literally. Pleasant landscaping from the road down to the beautiful water. The restaurant food is 'tan rica' even if the tasty cocktails 'no son muy fuertes'. The fish and the shrimp are great as is the 'desayuno incluido'. I loved hearing the Howler Monkeys up on the mountainside from late in the afternoon until after sunrise. Good birding out on the main road, too.

No beds to lie down and sunbathe, only chairs (which to be fair we're comfortable). I wish the menu had more variety.

Beat beach front out of all other hotels in the area, a lot is seating. Very well kept and clean, rooms looked new and were spacious and comfortable. Reasonably priced food when taken into account that you are pretty far from any supermarket or restaurant.

There could have been more social activities for the hostel. But it was okay. Everyone was just doing their own thing and relaxing.

Loved that staying here included the day pass and use of the kayaks! You can also arrange transport which is very affordable and convenient. The lake and nature are beautiful. And you can experience a really beautiful sunrise and stargazing

Not a big deal for us, but I thought it’s unusual that 15% tax and 10% service fee is added to room and taxi charges.

The food was overpriced and not the best quality

Amazing location right on the lake. Free kayak and SUP rentals. Nice spot for swimming. This is more like a resort. The drinks were good, the food just OK for the price. I opted to have dinner at a nearby local restaurant that was half the price for a very nice meal.

Private rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and decorated nicely. The overall space of the hotel is really lovely with a great layout down to the water with lots of different seating and lounging areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was great and we enjoyed using the kayaks that were available to us.

Everything was great.

Amazing location with lots of activities included in the room rate. We had a private room with private bathroom and it met our expectations. Beautiful views and grounds.

Vegetarian options for lunch and dinner are quite limited when you're staying for more than one day. Every time I come it seems to get more and more expensive (understand that everything costs more these days, but the prices feel quite inflated year on year). Can't understand why they don't include the VAT prices on the menu, and the 4% card charge feels sneaky. Plus there's an obligatory tip - all very US American which is odd when we're in Nicaragua and the owners are French!

Been here many times and keep coming back for the beautiful setting, great facilities, and different activity options. Recommend staying as lots of daytrippers come, but in the mornings and evenings its very quiet and is ideal for enjoying the peace of the laguna.
