Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandIt is very tricky to get in for the first time. Number "12" is not visible on the building (there are "10" and "14" only!) The video is too fast and we had to call the owner twice to get the instructions how to enter the building and the apartment. We stayed for two nights in the smaller room, which turned out to be a cubicle. The sofa bed and double bed built literally above it, very close to the ceiling, are very claustrophobic. The situation was saved by the shared living room, where you could prepare dinner and spend time before going to bed. The second, larger room was occupied by different people every day. I didn't see it, but it seems much more comfortable. The kitchenette lacked a coffee maker and microwave. Coffee and tea for guests would also be welcome!!! There was total chaos in the cupboards and fridge - some opened food packages, spices and other things, and it is not really clear whether they are for use or not. If they are not intended for guests, they should be removed. And if guests can use them, why is there a note in the fridge telling them not to touch things that are not theirs?
Two rooms with shared bathroom and living room with kitchenette. For just one or two nights - it is ok if you do not have big expectations. The staff is very kind and helpful. Trams stop is next to the building, so you can get everywhere easilly. The bathroom was very clean and even equipped with a washing machine. The kitchenette had basic dishes and equipment.

UkraineAvoid Dom and His Properties – Misleading Listings and Poor Management. We had a terrible experience with Dom, who manages this and several other units. The listing falsely claimed to offer private accommodations, but in reality, the space was shared! To make matters worse, when we discovered the unit was overbooked (3 couples for a 2-bedroom unit), Dom provided no solution for alternative accommodations with a **private bathroom and shower** as promised. Instead, he tried to push us into another shared unit that was unacceptable—small room, dirty mattress, and far from what we saw from photos, description, and layout of the post. We were exhausted after hours of back-and-forth with Dom, his assistant, and Booking.com support. We ended up booking a hotel at our own expense. The entire ordeal was frustrating, time-consuming, and completely avoidable had the listing been truthful from the start. If you're looking for a hassle-free stay, I strongly recommend avoiding Dom and his units. It’s not worth the stress.

AustriaThe host was very responsive, helpful and friendly. The room is small but clean and the beds were comfortable. The shared spaces like bathroom, kitchen and living room were also clean and well equipped. Walking distance to the centre is about 30 minutes, the tram station is in front of the building.

NorwayThe place is extremely small and the description is misleading. It's not a double room, the host has a tiny room in which he has created a bunk bed which he calls a double room. Add to that there is a guy who looks after the property, he didn't give us any privacy and stayed there for the whole day. The host didn't let us check-in even a minute before the time, so we expected that the room would be done by the time we get there but the caretacker came at 4-5pm and then started making the room, which was frustrating. The caretaker consistently reminded us that we have to move out by 10am even though official checkout time is 11am.
It was clean with modern facilities.
