Everything was by far more than I expected. You can really feel the love and passion the owner put in this hostel. Especially the details everywhere. It was so cozy and relaxing. I wish I could’ve stayed longer but already planning to come again next year. It felt like a far away home with the plus of a sauna with windows from where you could watch the Aurora in the evening. Also it’s well connected with the bus 300 - good to know for travellers without a car.

The heat alarm in the kitchen was a bit too sensitive and went off whenever anyone cooked.

Very cozy, clean, beautiful location, bus stop right outside. This is just about the perfect hostel if you want to explore Lofoten and prefer to stay outside of town!

Great location for exploring Lofoten, even with the bus (and some hitchhiking). Big and clean bathrooms, I was there apparently in low season so I had my 4 bed dormitory for myself. It is really beautiful at the lake, and the price I payed was very good especially considering Norwegian prices. I had breakfast once (it’s about 16€ extra) and it was very delicious.

Our room is not as new as the picture shows. The lighting and heating facilities are slightly aged.

The apartment is big and the kitchen is nice. We walked to a lake and had a good time there.

The apartment is small and with simple cooking facilities. But it’s good enough to make a simple dinner. The room is next to the lake where has been all covered by snow in early January. It’s very quiet and comfortable.

The pan in the kitchen worked not very well. If can provide shampoo and shower must be better.

Absolutely loved the space…. Very simple and pristine… exactly what you need to view the northern lights without even trying. We could see it through the night within the comfort of our room… just please go for it. We drove there and carried a lot of our own food - our kitchen in our family room was adequate for anything we needed to cook. The family rooms can easily accommodate 5-6 ppl I feel.. also we tried their sauna and dip in the lake, while the lake is at least a 20 steps away from the sauna to jump in - it’s bang in the middle of snow clad mountains- so no complaints from us.

Such a great place to stay in Lofoten. Views were amazing and easily reachable by public transport.The hosts were really welcoming and friendly. Made so many friends and gathered many memories to take back home. Will definitely visit again.

This was by far, the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Largely, this was facilitated by the energy that the volunteers and fellow guests cultivated. The energy was friendly, but calm, reflective and relaxing. Most travellers were busy during the day doing activities in the region but we'd come back together in the kitchen in the evening, share travel tips, and then off we went again. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and the hostel is quiet and peaceful - perfect for more mature travellers who don't want a party hostel.

We liked the sauna, but it would be nice to have some signs if sauna is busy. We had a few people checking sauna during our private session.
