We had Rorbuer №3. Blue. It was beautiful, big and warm. Hot and cold water. Wonderful view. Tea, sugar. -not very clean. -There was no coffee.

You can feel it's old and renovated on top, the doors don't close well and the rooms are a bit small. It is not as remote as the pictures indicate, as there is the parking right behind the rorbu and the road with cars passing by.

kitchen needs a update and the owner claimed its' underway soon. plenty of plates and cups but not enough lids for all the pots. need a fan above the stovetop.

the host responded via booking app fairly quickly and meet all of our requests. the assistant even stopped by with fresh towels upon our request after 3 nights. he gave us the history of the property (over 200 years old) where the local people go see the the northern lights. ballstad is definitely the place to stay. close to all attractions in a quiet little fishing town. highly recommended.

Nothing to dislike, everything was good.

Fantastic rustic fishing cotages right on the harbour. Very charming. Great location to explore region. Hosts were very helpful when we had heating problems during a storm and provided firewood for fireplace and extra heaters. Nice to have underfloor heating in the bathroom.

You need to hope to have silent/well-mannered neighbours and be prepared to wash dishes in the bathroom sink or using a washbowl. In any case, minor "issues" that did not compromise our stay at all.

Our host was super nice and helpful, communication was perfect. We loved this little house, which was really warm and cozy, with a great position and view on Ballstad. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had all the basics that might be needed. For sure, we will consider to stay here again during our future travels to Lofoten.

Cabins are rustic-chic and spacious. Nice sitting area, comfortable beds.Heated bathroom floor. The warmest, most authentic people around the place was the best part of the stay.

The bathroom door is facing the main entrance door (which has a small window), so you might feel a bit uncomfortable and less privacy, Our cabin is right next to the road, so sometimes it gets pretty noisy when vehicles pass by

The room is spacious and pretty comfortable. There's even stovetop, microwave and basic kitchen wares in the accommodation if you wanna do some cooking. If you're lucky enough, you can get to see the aurora just outside your accommodation. The host was also kind enough to pass us the iron when we requested for one

Just a slight bit of a smell likely from being in a damp area.

The property is located in a very central location between various small fishing towns. The owner is so nice and responsive at various hours of the day. The cabin was clean and quite spacious as well. There was a kitchen a living room, bathroom, and separate room for sleeping. There was also a dock area that was great for taking photos of the northern lights!

The Internet connectivity was not entirely reliable, but to be fair we were informed of this beforehand by the hosts.

In a beautiful location by the water with stunning views. We visited in mid-September, so we had to deal with many of the stores in walkable already being shut for the season, but the cabin was only a short drive away from restaurants and grocery stores that were still open.

A lovely Rorbu, in a small grouping, overlooking a small harbour, beautiful sunsets, feeling of authenticity, furnished simply but with all you need, a quiet place to relax, hiking trail nearby, the stay was wonderful

Would be great to have a larger table and some additional facilities for preparing food but the place was adequate. The property around the rorbuer could be spruced up to give the area a more upbeat feel.

Very lovely and quaint traditional-style cabin right near the water. The cabin was very clean (including the modern renovated bathroom) and had everything we needed for a short stay. Communication with the host as well as check-in and check-out were very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

Parking was a bit challenging, very steep to exit the parking lot.

Super cozy cabin right next to the water. There was even a spot to fish from. Some BBQ places were also right outside the cabin. Great rooms and lots of space.
