I would have preferred a double bed rather than all single beds.

The cabins were well equipped, and comfortable. The best feature were the large windows in the living room, which gave us an amazing view.

The house Cando with more lighting inside since we only had abt 3 to 4hrs daylight outside as a South African we found it a little intimidating in the dark. But all in all it was amazing

Very cozy, kind and friendly host. Each cabin has concept for ornaments which coming from all around the world that the host visited for his work. Some might say you would not like it if you have modern taste, but even though you cannot deny all the furniture is well maintained, warm, clean cabins they have. No one will not regret to stay here. Plus, congratulations on your retirement!!!

The cabins were spacious and beautiful inside and and in a special location with the porch overlooking the fjord and mountains. We loved hearing Haakon’s stories. The meals they prepared for us were excellent.

Great cabins in a very good location, 10 min drive from shops and supermarket, the can is cozy , clean , comfortable sitting area and beds, with gteat view. The host are great with lots of information about the area and not only. Also we had delicious dinners! Absolutely recommended place to stay

We didint find any water for the Sauna, so we couldnt use it. But The Sauna wasnt our priority number one.

Nice place for staying in the Lyngen Alps. The house is spacious and comfortable with kitchen and bathroom and wonderful view to the mountains. There are a lot places for trekking, mountains, glaciers, lakes. A beautiful large waterfall is located in fifteen minutes walk from the house. It takes fifteen minutes to get to the nearest supermarket by car. We are really enjoyed staying here!

I can't imagine anything really worth mentioning. Maybe a stove is missing, or a view into the landscape from the living-room, but nothing much else.

Viking cabins is a great place. We had the big house (Artic lodge) in the winter (March). The house is very cosy, also in the wintertime, a stove e.g. would add on to the great feeling already. There is everything (e.g. in the kitchen) there to have a happy stay, if you are nine people (which the house would host) maybe one bathroom is a bit scarce. The house really, also from the outside has a very specialö ambiente. It is close to many interesting points inthe Lyngen Alps. You only don't have a view, as it is located half in the forest. The other four smaller cabins have a great view from the hill to the coast and the Lyngen Alps. Haakon is a phantastic host with endless knowledge on everything. You can end up in his viking-hall-bureau, which is overwhelming itself, discussing the world up and down. It's a great pleasure staying at Haakons place, therefore we already come back this summer. Maybe then we will use the sauna in the sauna-house, which we missed out in March. On our last evening we finally saw phantastic nortern lights right in fron of the cabin!

We were very happy with the whole of the experience.

Upon arrival at Viking Cabins we were warmly greeted by the host. He is one of the calmest and most welcoming people we ever met, he even printed out a list of activities we could do in the area. The property has everything you need and has some beautiful joinery, you feel like you're in a fairytale! We were awestruck by the scenery and the peace that was surrounding us. We saw the Northern Lights 2 out of 3 nights that we were there at the beginning of January. It was a beautiful experience and we're already planning to go back.
