From experience, hotels in Nepal are rarely as nice as they are pictured. This is not the case with 9ine Thamel. The hotel common areas and rooms were stunning and maintained to a very high standard. The customer service was amazing, the hotel manager often going above and beyond to assist us from everything from hailing a taxi, extending our check out time, to even offering assistance with bargaining at the local market. The breakfast was perfect, cooked fresh to order and the restaurant serves up tasty quality food at reasonable prices. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kathmandu. We will be sure to stay here again on our next visit, hopefully next year :)

IndiaI would not say that I didnt like but there is a parking space for 2 cars at the front with ample parking space from at the back of the property which has a rear side entrance.
Property is in the heart of Thamel and is clean just in the pictures. I would appreciate the staff and their hospitality. We didnt get a chance to try out the breakfast but I am sure it would be delicious.

We stayed 5 nights (before and after trekking) in this new hotel at the very heart of Thamel. Perfect location, wonderful rooms (best shower in Nepal), nice restaurant downstairs, everything super clean and inviting, and finally the stuff is absolutely amazing - helpful and flexible with all our unique requests (for example very early breakfast before leaving to trekking). We highly highly recommend!

Everything, the owner and the staff was very kind and helpfull. They can organize everything, the transfer, programms etc, we could leave our luggages for days so everything was perfect! The hotel is so modern and located in the middle of the center.

All of the staff was helpful whenever I needed anything (from suggestions for a restaurant, a hairdresser up to a trustworthy place to buy trekking equipment). The hotel manager picked me up personally at the airport on arrival and the owner even took the time to take me out for an authentic Newari dinner on the last evening and drop me at the airport the next morning. This was definitely one of the absolute best hotels I have ever stayed in.
