The chefs of Ananta home were super nice and cooked my porridge with soy milk that I bought myself. Maybe next time it would be good to have some non-dairy milk in stock for us vegan travellers :)

The water in the bathroom had a musky smell but i think thats the same for kathmandu

The staff were super friendly and helpful. When i couldnt find the location they came to pick me up. The hotek room was very beautifully decorated and i had a good view from the top floor. The breakfast roof top was superb too. I had a very good night sleep as the room was completely quiet and air con works well as well. Breakfast selection is good and you can order so many different variety. Finally a hotel with a lift!

Property was neat and clean. Excellent breakfast and hospitality. The entire staff was polite, kind and helpful, especially Ram. This hotel is located near main Thamel but in a peaceful area. There are many vegan and vegetarian restaurants near it. Highly recommended.

This is such a great hotel in Kathmandu! The staff is extremely friendly, breakfast is yummy and the rooms are comfortable - loved the bed and pillows, I slept so well here. It is also quiet and very well located for exploring Kathmandu, lots of cafes and stores are right nearby.

After staying in over 50 hotels across Asia, I truly enjoyed this one. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and incredibly kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I extended my stay because I felt at home. I even rebooked when I returned. I tried another hotel in Kathmandu, and it was not as welcoming. That made a huge difference. I recommend this hotel for your next trip to Kathmandu. You won’t be disappointed. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The neighborhood is quiet but close to great restaurants and nice shops. At night, it’s peaceful. They can also arrange your airport transfer and organize all your activities in Nepal, making your trip even easier.

Great hotel in Thamel. Even though it's very central, it is still quiet at night. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is delicious and we could even leave some stuff at the hotel while hiking. We will definitely come back:) thank you!

Staff are super friendly and accommodating always asking what we did with our day or what we ate around the city, and also helped us organise taxis when we needed. Breakfast is delicious (highly recommend the banana pancake) and rooms are super clean, comfy and in such a great location in Thamel. The next time I find myself in Kathmandu I will be returning here!

I had the pleasure to stay at the Ananta House over Christmas.Had a great time all the staff were great Arjun,Ram,Aakesh, and Sudip. Got good advice on the sights to see and good places to eat.Also well before my stay hotel was in contact about various sightseeing trips and helped me arrange a trek. The hotel is on a nice quiet street and within walking distance of bars and places to eat.The room was very nice and clean.Great double bed.Bathroom was good lovely shower,the TV you could hook up to your phone and internet.My room at the back had a balcony you could sit on.It also had seating on the roof top which was nice. The breakfast was good.

Not only it’s the hotel in a great location, but the hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and located near everything you need. However, the best part of the hotel is the amazing, kind staff. From the moment I stepped in, to when I left, I was treated as if I was part of the family. They went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. Every time I was by the reception, I was offered tea, and when I missed breakfast, they didn’t hesitate and offered to prepare it for me. I have been many places, but very few where I felt so welcomed like here. With the most sincere of opinions, this hotel is very special.

Everything is good and exceptional!

The property is very clean, quiet and newly renovated. I am able to sleep soundly without any disturbance. Breakfast choices are the best and everything is prepared hot and fresh, and the owner/staffs treat you like a family by providing the best hospitality. I checked in at 5am after returning from Pokhara by bus, and there was no issue checking in whatsoever. Truly one of the remarkable hotel I've stayed in Nepal/Kathmandu!

Simple basic accommodation. No complaints.

Incredibly welcoming staff who try to make you feel at home. Warm reception with a welcome drink. Breakfast served every morning with a smile - basic but tasty and can be served downstairs or on the roof. Really good coffee or Nepali tea can be ordered from the café opposite. Very clean rooms just like in the pictures (not always true in Kathmandu but it is here!) Fair price and very flexible. Geat location tucked away on a quieter street while still in the heart of Thamel.

Everything is good!
