Everything. There are many hotels in Kathmandu but I would put my hand in the fire for this one every time. It is a small, attractive hotel in the Thames area, close to everything, very walkable. The English speaking staff was outstandingly kind and professional; the great breakfasts were to order and there was great hot water pressure, and I felt safe in every way. . They also provided me with late check-out. . Arjun, the manager/owner absolutely went out of his way to make me feel at home, including coordinating a door to door trip to Lombini, and to the Chitwan and Bardiya National parks where I went on safaris and treks and saw a Royal Bengal Tiger! During this trip, which I payed through Anata to simplify everything , Arjun stayed in touch via WhatsApp to make sure everything was going well. In total, I stayed at Ananta three times . I may have forgotten some great detail but you get the picture! I highly recommend Ananta Home as a home away from home in Kathmandu! By the way the photos of the room are of the one in front of mine. My room was a mess when it occurred to me to take a photo for Booking.com.

Just a heads up, I think there is a cafe with live music nearby, you might hear a faint sound of music at night. But it's not loud. Breakfast could be improved.

This hotel is perfectly situated in Thamel but in the quiet area, very close to everything you need. One of the standout features is the elevator, which is a rarity in this area. The room had a small balcony overlooking other buildings, which was fine, but they have a rooftop terrace which is perfect for relaxing. The hot water and water pressure were excellent, and the WiFi was fast. The entire hotel was clean and well-lit, creating a pleasant atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Anisa, whom I interacted with the most. To be honest, this is the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced during my stay in Nepal. Good value for money.

I was delighted to stay at this establishment. Located in a quiet street and with comfortable beds, the hotel perfectly met my expectations. I stayed there before and after my trip to Chitwan. The staff are very charming, particulary Anisa. They are attentive to their customer and provide the necessary information. I recommend the establishment 100%. I booked a room for 3 nights which was confirmed, however, I was booked into a room on the first night in a separate building across the road which I then had to check out of and move all of my stuff back across the road to check into another room for the remainder of my stay.

Everything was exceptional, the staff are great always trying to make your stay better. Anisa and all the crew are fantastic we really appreciated all the help, the owner is hospitable, friendly and willing to help any time you need something.
