EXTREMELY IMPRESSIVE. Even though we had not yet arrived at the hotel, the manager Sunkar assisted us greatly with whatever we required. This dude is great and generous. Both the view and the location are excellent choices for a tranquil and unforgettable vacation. The facilities and people are excellent. The meal is fantastic!

we had the most amazing time ! The personnel was very friendly. The whole accomadation is very clean as well. I asked to decorate our room to surprise my boyfriend as I haven’t seen him in 6 months. they did an amazing job, hats off!

Staff is amazing making your stay easier, suggesting alternatives based in their experience. Facilities are amazing and very clean. Location quiet but at a short distance from lake side. Breakfast is excellent.

The only issue was that the triple bedroom was a little on the small side and that there was not enough clothes storage and barely any hangers so we couldn’t unpack our clothes during our 5 day stay. The bedrooms were comfy though and nicely furnished.

we absolutely loved our stay here. The property is beautiful, we loved that they had managed to design a hotel with lots of elements that were typical of Nepal , it did not feel in any way like the kind of generic hotel you can find the world over. The food in the restaurant was expensive, as could be expected, but really delicious. The pool was lovely with great views and there is a beautiful balcony/terrace which guests can eat on where we even saw monkeys one morning. The garden is also a great place to spend some time, with hammocks, seating areas and so many different flowers and plants. The breakfasts are delicious and varied everyday, with good vegan options for us, and they even agreed to make us extra scrambled tofu without any chilli for the children most mornings. They also had soya milk for coffee which is extremely rare (can’t confirm it wasn’t the type with added milk powder). one member of staff in particular really made our stay, this was Nishant, he took the time to play with our 3 year old twins nearly every day and they loved him, and talked about him constantly during our trip!

Best place to rest after a trek. I totally recommend it!!!! All the staff is very attentive and take care of you really well. The resort is so peaceful and nice that you barely need to get out for anything. I must mention how efficient the travel agent and people at reception are. These days most of the flights from Pokhara to Kathmandu have been cancelled due to weather conditions, and they helped me process a refund for my delayed flight and sort out really quickly a shared car to come to Kathmandu the same day.

Just know that this is one of the more expensive places to stay in Pokhara (including food, drinks, and if you hire a private car). In our opinion, it was worth it though.

A wonderful oasis in Pokhara. We stayed here before and after hiking the Annapurna circuit. The room was comfortable, the food was good, and the staff were so helpful with everything from storing our luggage during the hike to organizing a car to the Kathmandu airport when the Pokhara airport closed due to smoke

Great spot with the beautiful view of the lake. a bit of walking distance from the restaurants and shops so less noises. The coffee was definitely one of the highlight of our stay! We enjoy our morning coffee with the beautiful view of Pokhara!

Very nice hotel in Pokhara. The staff were very helpful and arranged for a box breakfast since we had a very early am flight out. The location is about a 10 min walk to the main shopping area but it is a bit of a climb on the way back. Very doable though. We enjoyed a great massage-some of the strongest hands I’ve ever had.

Had family room which was a little tight on space, but very well presented as was the whole of the hotel.

Incredible location with magnificent views over the lake, quiet and tranquil. While it is a steep hill to the hotel entrance it is very close to lakeside (5 - 10 minute walk). High staff to guest ratio; received a great welcome on arrival and all staff were very gracious throughout our stay. Thank you everyone. Fabulous food for evening meal. Modern clean bathroom with all facilities. Talk with hotel if you have any mobility issues. Hotel arranged our car transfer to Chitwan in comfortable vehicle at a reasonable price. Would definitely stay here again.

There is nothing you may dislike....everything is too good. Well trained staff.

The hotel ambience is perfect. Staff was humble and very helpful. The manager at travel desk was exceptionally helpful and nice. Good food. Nice cocktail...don't miss Rum punch in hot water at this place. The grill few fish....mouth watering delicious.

In one room the shower kept running hot then cold during the shower. It didn't affect us but it might bother some people that there is no lift. However the staff always offer to carry your luggage up and down.

This is a large hotel set on a hill with a fabulous views over the lake . It is in a very quiet area but within easy walking distance of the lake and the main street for restaurants and bars. We stayed in different rooms including a generous upgrade to the suite. The rooms are clean spacious and have everything you need. The rooms had nice balconies and had great views of the lake. The A/C is very effective and the rooms are exceptionally quiet. The staff are very welcoming , helpful and friendly. There was a buffet breakfast with lots of choice including local and western choices all freshly prepared. This was the one hotel in Nepal where we had really good coffee served for breakfast. The restaurant staff were eager to please and very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

There was nothing we didn't like about Bar Peepal - I just wish we could have stayed there longer.

The staff were welcoming and bent over backwards to help us with anything we needed. The room was clean and very comfortable. And the Pina Coladas were amazing! I will be recommending Bar Peepal to everyone I know, and will definitely stay there again next time we're in Pokhara.
