Hot water was available but took a long time - I'd finished my shower and hair wash before it was even luke warm.

Not all the rooms are the same. I stayed in two different rooms. The first one had a bath and the second didn't but they were the same price.

The breakfast needs improvement both in variety and taste. The hotel lacked steam and sauna which some other lower priced hotels nearby also had. The lower staff like the bell staff and security staff need more training and they lacked the politeness which other staff showed. We had 9 rooms and the balcony door locks in most were not working meaning that anybody could enter the room from there as our rooms were on the ground floor.

The rooms were good but not luxurious. It was appropriate for the tariff. The staff was very accommodating and helpful and polite. The location was great and walking distance to the lake and the eateries. The overall vibe was good.

There is construction on site, hence at times noise and smell of burning chemicals.

Stuff is outstanding, they will do everything to make you feel at home. The breakfast is rich and healthy, spa, especially after a long week of hiking is all you can ask for. I’ll be back!!

The bathrooms in the deluxe rooms need updating. A walk in shower would be more practical than a bathtub.

The breakfast is very good. The service from all the staff is outstanding. The location is very good and very close to the main restaurant and shopping area around the lakeside. The deluxe rooms have balconies, but the newer super deluxe rooms and the suites are particularly nicely appointed.

They are renovating parts of the hotel which gives a lot of noise. Our first room looked quite old, smelled like moist and was located next to the renovation works (started at 8 AM). After complaining about this we got a new room that looked definitely newer, better and silent. Including a big soft bed and spacious bathroom this room definitely was very comfortable! The staff was very friendly, but sometimes a bit ‘pushy’: asking to close the tabs several times while we were hanging around the pool all day, cleaning out plates while people were still eating and responding very surprised to the fact we wanted one last drink at 11 PM (while the promote they have an 24 hours bar). Ofcourse this is no big deal (cultural differences), but to us it was remarkable in comparison to other hotels.

Great location close to the lakeside, friendly staff, big swimming pool with comfortable pool beds and a pool bar/restaurant with good food and cocktails! We enjoyed our time very much after a 14 days hike.

Felt that the rooms including the bathrooms were dated and needed a facelift especially the bathroom with the shower curtain and a grubby looking bath. To be aware that currently work is going on and it was noisy esp if you wanted to rest during the day.

This hotel was very well located. The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff were amazing with attentive service with a smile. Each and every one of them. Purna was lovely and provided us with lots of local info. Breakfast was really nice with a great array of different food. There was a station where eggs, omelettes, waffles etc were made to order.

Great location in lakeside, could walk to the lake and all the shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was my birthday during the stay and they decorated my room with balloons and even brought me up birthday cake! Lovely room and pool. Breakfast buffet great too. Was so nice to come and relax here after a week of trekking!

The service at the hotel is IMPECCABLE. Amazing breakfast, beautiful pool, super comfy rooms. They stored our luggage for us while we went trekking and we liked it there so much that we ended up rebooking when we got back from our trek. I highly recommend Hotel Barahi Pokhara!

There was lots of noise especially that there was a construction site next to it but this is something they cant control…and if you want to sleep in it s not very possible if the cleaning personnel are cleaning the rooms next to yours. Cause the noise of moving things around can be easily heard. Although the property was so clean the shower head and the douching head were a bit stained from the water. I was able to clean it myself so i think these details can be better taken care of by the cleaning personnel for an ultimate experience and maintenance of the rooms.

Swimming pool was nice to have. The service was amazing! Very nice and friendly staff! The room was clean and spacious with a balcony. I enjoyed the breakfast a lot.
