Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The pool and roof terrace area were a little oasis of calm after a hectic day in Kathmandu, with excellent sunset views over Monkey Temple! Staff so helpful and friendly and hotel is in a great location for easily getting into Thamel. Would absolutely stay again in future!

Good location on a quiet street but just a short walk to main Thamal area. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable.

Can't fault the location, on a little quiet side street but 2 minutes walk from the bustling Thamel area. Clean and comfortable with a breakfast included. Friendly and attentive staff especially the manager who had a chat every day.

We didn’t have any negative experiences, for the value, this hotel is an excellent choice.
The location is very centric, breakfast was tasty and always had variety of warm dishes. The staff is ready to help you anytime, they are so lovely and friendly. The room was quiet enough and the view from the roof is amazing.

We stayed at this hotel for two times and want to express our gratitude for a perfect service. From the moment of check-in till check-out the staff was very helpful and supportive. We asked to help with organization of sightseeing and received amazing service with a personal driver. Room was clean and cozy with all the necessary amenities. While chilling on the rooftop you can even order drinks there. Also you can change money right at the reception. Recomended!

Very kind and helpful staff, several things were arranged for me beyond my expectations. I had a great stay, returned and extended my stay for several days. The rooftop pool area is great. Room was in good condition and comfortable. Thank you for being so accommodating!

My family and I were astonished by the hotel’s view of the city, which we had seen on a daily basis in our rooms. The location itself benefited us immensely as most of the attraction areas were situated close to the hotel, therefore any possible transportation was possible whether that was by walk or taxi. We had too appreciated the outdoor pool which was located nearby each floor, and respected the hospitality of the servers and the receptionist when providing self-catering and anytime we had a question/favor.

The breakfast was ok but too few choices and not that good. I have tried the laundry. it was overpriced, too slow and the laundry service overall was bad.
The hotel location was good. The staff were nice and willing to help. The rooms were clean. The view from the roof was breathtaking. The reception can organize several trips with less hassle.
