The property was situated off the very busy main road so away from the dust and pollution of the city with the garden/shared area providing a little oasis of calm! Sonny and his team are very welcoming helpful and kind with nothing being to much trouble. The food is freshly prepared and delicious.

Very nice staff, ready to help you in every thing. Rooms are basic but they have every thing that you need. There is some food available. You can ask anything to the owner. He speaks good english, so is the staff and they can always help. Place is located in a quiet area but center still reachable very easily. It is perfect place to come for a few nights and get to know the vibe before exploring nepal once you arrive. And also before leaving. They also let you keep your bags in a safe storage which is super helpful!

Comfy, clean room with attached bathroom with western toilet and enough toilet paper!😁 Managers and all staff were super friendly, and very helpful! Although we arrived late at night, they managed tasty dinner for us.

Sunny and the other employees were very friendly, polite people. The accommodation was exactly as in the photos. Small, beautiful business. There is no toilet paper and shampoo but there is a towel. A real price performance hostel. Breakfast was also fine.

Cozy and relaxed little place away from the hustle and bustle of city center, but 30 minute walk from Thamel. Sunny is super nice and helpful and makes you feel right at home. The restaurant is a good place to meet people.

The bathroom/shower setup was offputting. I was initially going to leave after day 1 but it wasnt as bad as i thought. You just need to time your shower/bathroom time right before you leave the room. The hospitality, location and price kept me there. The beds were small but I slept well each night.

The best thing about this hotel is the hospitality. Sunny is an amazing, warm hearted kind person and you can tell he treats the staff in the same demeanor. You feel safe and welcomed here with his first smile. First the price is the best in the vicinity ( save some $$). I loved this location (outside of the busy thamel areas and only a 70 cent grab ride pretty much anywhere.) I had a square loop of my favorite places all within walking distance (great coffee shops, yoga studio, lunch spot) I dont know how they can have such an amazing restaurant with prices so cheap. I dont get it, but i welcome it. Great location for people who do not require much other than the basic necessities and want to support local nepalese humans. Oh and I met some great people here, so its a mini vortex of like minded travelers and explorers. This is not a party spot.

Only one time did the school alarm go off early and I thought it was a fire alarm lol- but once I knew it wasn’t I just put in earplugs to not hear the morning bell and slept quite well.

I absolutely loved the hosts here. Everyone was so kind, genuinely caring, and excellent hosts. The food is amazing, the shower is the hottest shower you will ever take- which is amazing after many cold showers in Nepal! The hosts make you feel like family and the garden area is so comfortable to sit and have tea and meet people from all over the world! I was visiting my friend here and I was so impressed that I changed my schedule to stay a few days here with her and once on the way back from my other travels. it’s off the main road tucked out of the way which I loved. There is a school nearby and the kids will say hi and wave out the windows at you. it’s such a loving space.
