Nothing to complain, our only issue was that the toilet paper rolls were too small for our stomach issues - we needed a lot of them!

The staff also very friendly and always ready to help us out, especially the manager: he picked us up from the bus station when we arrived, organized all our tours (also at reasonable prices), would answer our questions in his off-time and even drove us to a medical centre when my bf was feeling unwell; the staff in general also understood (and spoke) English really well. The rooms were very clean, had good AC and even pre-installed mosquito nets. Every room also has a patio and the resort in general is very beutiful with a well-kept garden, pavillions etc. Resort restaurant is really high quality (oftentimes ingredients were fetched freshly after we ordered) and serves many yummy options. It was also possible to order off-menu, e.g. stomach-friendlier alternatives. The resort is well-situated: Sauraha's main street can be reached in 5-10 walking and driving to the park only took 15 mins.

-) I cannot remember having felt ever before that much welcome in a hotel than I felt here. Manager Raj's (and his team's) politeness and customer-orientation were simply outstanding. They thoroughly explain everything about things to do in Sauraha and the national park, book tickets for you and take you to the pickup points where the tours start. -) When I fell sick, they came to my room several times, asked if I was okay, whether I needed a doctor, brought me extra water, bought me cookies etc. If I had to choose a place in Nepal where to fall sick, it would definitely be here! -) Beautiful, tranquil setting in a tropical garden about 5 minutes away from Sauhara's main street, 2 minutes away from the riverfront. -) Rooms on upper floor have A/C, which I was happy to use at least during some hours per day. Rooms on ground floor have fans only, but will be cooler anyway, so decide for yourself. -) I was lucky to be able to stay on the upper floor room on the far left building when looking from the entrance, which in my opinion offers the best views and is the most secluded. -) Very good breakfast

The bed linen and pillow covers were old, but they changed immediately after requesting.

The hotel was picking up after covid. The owner was very friendly and he was helpful in full-filling our request. He arranged the pickup and drop from the airport and the local sightseeing tours at a reasonable price. The hotel staff were friendly. Food was good.

My stay at Chitwan Village Resort was wonderful! The hotel is well located, near to the jungle were the safaris are made, but away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The place is just an oasis, I really enjoyed being surronded by nature all time. Besides, the service was excellent, the workers were very attentive and friendly. It exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, a place to return to!

The wifi was a bit slow and the water pressure in the shower could be a little better.

The vibe and ambience of the place is really great with a beautiful garden and outdoor seating area. It's super close to the main street and nice restaurants, but far enough away that it's quiet. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is large and there's a little area to sit outside of each room which we enjoyed in the mornings with our coffee. There was hot water, a/c, and a fan - all of which worked great.

Honestly could not recommend this resort more. The rooms were clean and spacious and the gardens were so peaceful and beautiful. However the true reason I would push you to stay at this resort would be the staff. They were so incredible helpful and made sure my stay was the best it could be. As soon as I arrived they sat me down and made sure that I was doing all the activities I wanted to at the National Park and were able to situate all the plans as well as the bus to Kathmandu. It was a completely stress free experience and made sure that my trip was perfect. Will definitely be coming back to the resort and would highly recommend this to be your choice of stay when in Chitwan.

Not hotels fault but dogs kept barking all night during my stay and could hardly get any sleep. People around are really noisy in the morning and the staff should let people know to be more quiet early on the morning. Be aware that there are a lot of insects, and I found one massive spider and one cute lezard in the bathroom in the evening. Seems that they come out only at night/ evening

The air conditioner (which would also serve as a heater) did not work. On the first night, we told them and they said 'oh we are looking into it right now' and never did. The second night, the exact same thing. Hot water was also quite limited; not available in the morning, and only warm in the evenings. We travelled in early January so it was pretty cold. Maybe these don't matter so much in warmer months when I assume they have the most visitors. It also seemed like they were operating on barebones staff, but that may also be an off-season thing.

Clean, decently maintained resort even if a little old-fashioned. The location is nice, with eateries and the Rapti river close by, while still being quiet and serene. The breakfast is a little limited in terms of choice but adequate and tasty. Pretty good value for money and the staff are friendly.
