Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The property is architecturally stunning and the view over the lake backed by the mountains is serenity in form. They made a dish so good that I asked if the chef could teach me. They set up a cooking lesson a few hours later and loved every second. I came last minute to Pokhara and wanted to trek while here - they set me up with a guide to meet me on property to consult with, and confirmed a 3 day trek for the next day with this guide.

AustraliaVery minor feedback, there is no shower screen so the water goes all over the toilet and bathroom floor. There is no room service as well. There is nothing close by to the restaurant so you will need to take a taxi any time you want to leave.
Such a beautiful, luxurious stay. The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The owners are very keen to ensure you are well looked after.

The first real luxury resort we encountered after 6 weeks in Nepal that has real 5 star standard. Lots of wood and plants, beautiful new rooms and clean amazing pool. Great staff, food and service too. And a new TV with fast internet Netflix, Prime and Co. Highly recommended! By the way the one 1.0 rating below seems unrealistic. I just dont see why someone staying at this beautiful place would give it the worst possible rating.

FranceNeed to improve the food but I know they are working on it.
The best and NEW resort at Phokara, no doubt. Between the view, the quality of service, and the big rooms, it's very comfy! I will definitely come back there during my next stay in the city.

NepalThe resort is still under construction. Some of the facilities like the gym and sauna were not available at the time. I wish they had added more food to their menu.
The location of the resort is excellent with a great view of the Fewa lake. Rooms were very spacious and clean. The pool was a good size and clean. The staff was very attentive and helpful. They had a good selection of breakfast.

United Arab EmiratesThe Junior Suite is located above the pool area, which can be quite noisy during the day, especially when the hotel is busy with families. If you're looking for quiet and privacy, you might prefer a room that's set back from the pool. We also found some mechanical noise outside the window — possibly from a pool pump — incredibly off-putting, it was so loud on a nearly hourly basis which meant we had to keep the windows closed at times. The room description mentioned a balcony, but our suite didn’t have one. We looked into the hotel’s transfer service but ended up arranging transportation separately, as we found more affordable options elsewhere. There are inconsistencies in their airport transfers - some automated messages mention it's complimentary, while others mention costs that were very different to the 330 USD I was told over whatsapp. We booked outside of the hotel the same trip for 40USD. Food at the property was a mix — the Nepali dishes along with breakfast were excellent, but we wouldn’t suggest ordering Western options. The steak my partner ordered was unfortunately inedible — extremely tough and difficult to chew, despite being ordered medium-rare. Finally, we were surprised to find that access to the steam room and sauna came at an additional cost, despite our room rate being close to $400 per night. For a hotel in this price range, we expected those facilities to be included.
A beautifully designed luxury hotel in Pokhara with stunning views of Lake Phewa. The rooms were elegant and well-appointed, and the resort itself is thoughtfully laid out with charming touches throughout. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options, and the Nepali cuisine was exceptional — the vegetarian thali is a must-try. We also enjoyed the spa facilities, especially having the steam and sauna area all to ourselves — a perfect way to unwind. There are plenty of lovely outdoor spaces around the resort to relax, take in the views, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

IrelandIt was a bit too quiet. On our first night, we ate alone in the dining room. Check out is 12pm, but we got a call from reception a couple of minutes before that. We were packed and just about to leave -on time.
The room was really spacious, with a large comfortable bed. The shower was great.
