Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesOur stay at Dusit Thani Resort in the Himalayas was nothing short of extraordinary, and much of that is thanks to the incredible Roshan. He truly made our experience unforgettable. From the breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains to the intimate setting with few guests around, we were able to enjoy multiple yoga and sound healing sessions with Roshan, which were both relaxing and rejuvenating. Roshan also guided us on an amazing visit to a nearby monastery, where we had a unique and profound experience with local women and monks. His mindfulness practices, attention to detail, and most of all, his kind and genuine nature made all the difference. The resort itself is exceptional. The rooms are of the highest standard, and the food is simply delicious. The front desk went above and beyond, even checking on us late at night when the restaurant was closing to see if we needed room service—a true testament to their outstanding customer service. Housekeeping was impeccable, and we treated ourselves to the spa, which was also a highlight. They even allowed us to create our own massage oil blend to suit our preferences, a special touch that made the experience even more personalized. The pool and jacuzzi area, overlooking the Himalayas, is one of the most impressive we’ve ever seen. Dusit Thani Resort is truly one of the best places we’ve stayed, but what made it exceptional was Roshan. His warmth and impeccable service turned our stay into something truly memorable. Thank you to Dusit Thani and especially Roshan for an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!

United StatesSince the location is a little isolated (which is great for a relaxing getaway), you are pretty much forced to eat every meal at their restaurant. The menu is big & varied enough (Nepalese, Indian, Thai, Continental), but every meal tends to add up price wise. Wish that the breakfast buffet would have been included given the price we paid for the room already. We did a hike up to Namo Buddha and participated in the "Meditate with the Monks" experience that the resort offered on their website. It was an absolutely incredible thing to do, once in a lifetime, but I didn't realize it was a charged activity (I should have asked beforehand about the price, that's on me). Given that we had to pay for it though, I would have appreciated a bit more of an actual guided tour - we felt like what we did was something we could have just done on our own. We asked questions about the monks/monastery along the way that couldn't be answered by the person at the hotel who took us. In summary - the costs do add up, so just be prepared!
Wow what a place! The view is AMAZING (we were lucky to have clear skies) - definitely spring for a room with a view. We were double upgraded to a suite that was just to die for - incredible view of the mountains. The staff is incredible - attentive & friendly, genuinely want to make sure you have the best stay. I emailed before our stay to arrange airport pickup and spa services and everyone was so pleasant and timely over email. This place is brand new (there's still some construction going on, but that didn't get in the way of our stay) so you can tell the staff is eager to get feedback and make sure all is perfect. The spa was heavenly - we got two massages (some of the best I've ever had) and a sound bath (my partner said he had an "out of body experience," which I think is the highest compliment). We just felt so calm and attended to during our entire stay. Would love to return!

Its a wonderfull hotel, superb. The view of the Himalayas is amazing. The people who work there, so friendly, warm and kind. I am sure I will return. I think this is one of the best hotel that I have ever even. The rooms, the cleanest, the food is fantastic, the view, the facilities, its proximity with Namobudha Monastery. There you can walk around and get recharged with full energy.
